Should I change my boot drive when i upgrade my ssd?

I want to buy a 500gb samsung evo 850 SSD but i currently have a 120gb adata SSD as my boot drive. So the problem is i dont know whether i should change my boot drive to the 500gb one or should i just use it as another hard drive?
