Total war warhammer Dx12

I was wondering if it was possible for the public to use dx12 in warhammer. It's supposed to be in beta but steam does not have a beta update for it. The statement for the update nearing two weeks ago speaks nothing of it being locked to certain people, only that its in beta. They took about 2 months just to push out update 1 so im itching to try dx12 mode because I feel like it could be another month before it's out of beta. Helppppp
