Gaming laptop under $750

Hello!
I am looking for a bang-for-the-buck gaming laptop under $750.
The purpose of my laptop is for programming and light gaming. 
My current choices are MSI GP62 2QD($722) and Asus X556UB-XX030T ($649).

MSI has a much better GPU. My buddy got a 970M for $500 though. Of course it was used but still.

my personal advice if you have to get a laptop for light gaming or programming would be to go with the Dell Inspiron 7559, it costs a little over your budget but delivers great price to performance in laptop terms. It can handle gaming with AAA modern titles medium high settings no problem. as far as programming i have no idea. Linus also reviewed it and seemed to like it quite a bit, (rare for him)

There are only i7 variants of Dell Inspiron 7559 available here. I had no luck of finding an i5 variant.

Then grab the i7 version. The cooling on the 7559 is phenomenal and will easily handle the extra heat.
