Setting Up t5i/700D for HDMI Capture

Hi,

I want to set my t5i/700D up for HDMI capture but have 2 issues. Firstly the video quality through the HDMI signal seems somewhat crummy and the screen has all the overlays on, how do I turn these off and is there a capture over HDMI mode for example?

Thanks,

James :D

You need a video capture card, and as for getting a clean signal check the camera manual or online for a guide on how to get a clean HDMI output.

I dont think it has clean HDMI at all, without using magic lantern and then cropping the 4:3
