I think my monitor failed can you help me ?

MA12

Hello everyone

Ive had this korean monitor for around a year and today i turned it on and it started tearing. I removed the dvi cable but it was still tearing. Turned it off then back on and nothing changed.

Can you help me and tell me what the problem is and if i need to change the monitor ? 1464026257177-1592423288.jpg

I am guessing it was a cheap monitor.. I think you might have to replace it..

How much was it and where did you get it from?

It's hard to say, it could be a driver, the controller, a lost contact inside the monitor or a capacitor has dried up all of its electrolytic fluid. Repairing it would be more money, time, and work than it's worth. I'd look into buying a new one.
