Which motherboard is better for gaming ASUS or GIGABYE?

These are the list of motherboard I am considering for building new gaming PC.

1.  ASUS Z170-DELUXE LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

2. GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Which one will give better gaming performance over other?

gaming performance, close to none. Look at their features and costs and than decide which you want. (I would go Asus, but it`s up to you)

to game or not to game, that`s the question

There is little to no difference in gaming performance between those two motherboards - and many others that cost less than a third of the price.

switching off components that are not needed should decrease the DPC latency
