At Intels IDF 2013 keynote, CEO Brian revealed that broadwell exhibits 30% power improvement. Intel aims to provide ultra low wattage chips to eliminate the next thing which is an inconvenience [with the first being poor battery life]- noise which they plan on doing by eliminating the need for a fan.

My view: A possibility of 12 hour battery life? This rocks! :D I don't mind the noise however being next to a jet engine called a delta fan :P
