Need Suggestions for a CPU, Mobo and PSU

FKC2004

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if you could suggest some parts for a budget home server.

I was thinking around AU$300 - AU$400

Thanks :D

What exatly do you want to do?

How many HDDs, which OS and perhaps the size (itx-atx).

You could also look into a prebuilt like the HP Proliant ML10 V2. 4 HDD slots and ECC RAM

Hi,

Probably Just 2 HDDS!

Also, My Favoured OS would be linux and it doesn't really matter what size the case is.

Finally, with the pre built ones I like the idea but I would really like to build it myself.

Thanks :P

Pentium G3240 ~ AU$80

Gigabyte B85M-DS3H-A ~ AU$90

^ This should work well for a home server.

PSU wise go with seasonic or
Super flower 350-450w ( the cheapest ). They have 5 y warranty and gold rating
