Chrome freezing spontanously

Fgtfv567

I know I've posted this before mods, but I've gotten little help and the issue still persists. In fact, worse now today.

This issue started roughly a week ago, when I browse the internet on google chrome, randomly, it'll freeze up my entire browser, rendering me unable to click anything on the screen, scroll, or switch tabs for roughly 4-5 seconds.

I have tried:

  • Removing a whole bunch of extensions, like around 4 extensions
  • Reinstalling chrome once
  • Updating chrome to the very latest version in the settings menu
  • Restarts don't help either, as I'll have this problem persist after I turn my PC off for sleep
  • Clearing my entire cache (except history)

It's not a problem with the rest of my PC. When chrome lags, I can still open iTunes just fine and do other stuff. I've looked at task manager, RAM usage stays the same, CPU usage jumps from 1% to 12% (this was once, I don't know about all the other times.)

Chrome freezing spontaneously?  Spontaneously with what?

My screen in chrome just freezes by itself.

Oh.  Well, spontaneously means it freezes when something else freezes as well, I thought you had 2 things crashing together that weren't related.

No. It's just all of chrome freezing at one time. You got any ideas why this is happening or how to resolve it?

Actually, spontaneously means that it happened without any warning and usually without any issues occurring before that. You are mistaking it with simultaneously, which means at the same time as something else.
