CPU OPT Fan header

On my Maximus VI Gene there are 3 fan headers plus the CPU fan header and a CPU opt fan header. I have 4 fans that I want to put in my case. Will it be ok to put my fourth fan in the CPU opt header?

CPU_OPT is usually meant for a water cooling fan.

It's usually for a secondary CPU fan, like a secondary fan for the heat sink or something. It will work fine.

Nevermind, I forgot that I had some molex fan adapters. :P

CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT are controlled by same unit so mobo will adjust both fan speed according to cpu temps.
