Need help with Robocopy

Glaith

Hey guys, Ive really been trying hard to set this up my self but all i can seem to do is mirror my drive, Here is what i would like to happen, When on my main PC if i were to download somthing i would like it to be automaticly backed up on my MediaPC (server) now i have managed to make it so if any of the files are deleted on media pc it re sends them from Main.

Both PCs are running win 7 pro.

I originaly used cmd line, "robocopy c:\downloads \\mediapc\J\data backup /MIR , then some one put me onto Robocopy gui, which seems to do the same thing. If some one could tell me what to do to make it automated this would be great. Also does it write more then one script as i have ran it a couple of times in experimenting. Thanks guys i hope this is enough info.

use Task scheduler to run "c:\downloads \\mediapc\J\data backup /MIR" in a batch file, when you want to have it run.
