Good projector for $400 - 600

A friend recently questioned me about what I think a decent projector would be for around $400 - $600. He is planning on using the projector to cast an image onto a canvas to assist him in painting. As I have very little knowledge about projectors, I decided to ask here.

i dont know much about them but i do know that they burn out like anything does with lights but i would say you try and get one with LED lights
