BF3 High CPU usage 3570K?

orangecat

When ingame everything maxed at 1080P by CPU is running at 80% CPU utilization and my game shutters sometimes I have a 768MB 460GTX as long as I keep AO, Motion Blur and AA off I get 60FPS or so but it randomly shutters and locks up sometimes... why?

Spec:

CPU: 3570K Stock

GPU: 460GTX Cyclone (860Mhzcore 1950Ram)

Ram: 4GB vengance 1600Mhz CL9

*EDIT* I can't seem to get ingame it keeps going to a loading screen then crashes.

i would suggest a full reinstall. also the 460 will run bf3 but you might want to think about upgrading your card.

Not sure how good the 460 is, but my 6870 runs bf3 just fine, I run it maxed out with no ubersampling and I usually stay above 80fps the whole match.

BF3 don't have ubersampling only Witcher 2 dose.

Could be your temperatures? When was the last time you cleaned all the dust out?

I'm not sure if CPU temps have anything to do with CPU usage unless its throtleing witch it's not and my of is rather dust free

I'm thinking more your GPU is getting on the hot side and causing the issues.
