Display Choice Help!

Just_Game-00

Hi guys

I've been building my pc up for the past year and I am now happy with my rig. I am currently gaming through a old led tv and have decided it's time to get a monitor. I don't have the largest budget so options are limited. I'm looking for a something that preforms reasonably well and looks good for around £250. I have looked briefly and I have come across the asus vx279q. What are your thoughts on this and what alternatives can people suggest?

Thanks for any help :)

I wouldn't go too big on 1080p. 24" would be ideal for 1080p. If you want a bigger display, go 1440p or 4k, which is out of your range, so I would either get the 21:9 LG that I posted above or a simple 24" 1080p display.

This one has a nice stand, performs well in games and is also IPS.

I hadn't considered a 21:9 monitor. That lg also looks nice. Are games compatible with that ratio. And Will it put much more strain on my gpu

If you'd want to go with 27 inch then go 1440p.

I have an Asus VN248 right now. 23.8" and I like it. Great bang for the buck I think...I refrained from larger displays until now because I need them frames (although I have a 780 lol)
