Many BSOD

I have had many blue screens, Took it to a techy and he claimed it was the graphics card, I have removed the card but it has blue screened again.

Any assistance would be great.

What were you doing when it happened? Where you doing the same thing when the graphics card was installed and you got the bsod?

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

The Blue screens would happen at different times, it could happen when: shutting down, waking comp up after leaving it on for an extended period, after playing a game, watching youtube. One time I was just using word.

Run memtest and a hard drive check.

Otherwise make sure all the old graphics card drivers are out of the system.

Its great your looking for help, but help cant proceed without more information.

What BSOD error codes you getitng

What where you doing to get the BSOD

My option firstly is check your drivers then check the BSOD logs to get error codes.

Essentially the 3b and 01 stop codes lead to a memory issue.

Download and run memtest 

 

Download and run the program "Whocrashed" to get an idea if it's a driver issue. Sometimes graphics drivers cause problems with video ram and bsod.

 

x50 default in non paged area bsod means memory normally.

I ran a Memetest, it made 6 passes and didn't find one error. Also the Whocrashed program only stated that a third party driver was the fault, it didn't specify which one.
