Fractal Design r4 with fit with SSI CEB Motherboard?

Hello Friends!

I am buying a Fractal Design R4 and I was wondering if it would be compatible with a SSI CEB motherboard and a H100I cpu cooler. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Consumer E-ATX? not officially no but you could squeeze it in but i would not recommend it.

Yes but there aren't SSI CEB ground points. So yes you can fit it, but i'd recommend rigging some extra points if you do.

Edit: this might help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Tyudcr1uLY#t=594

Edit: Edit: I changed the link to the right time. Also yes it will work, its just longer.

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

Still wouldn't go though the hassle though. Mid towers are not the way to go for larger than ATX boards. Used to run my UP7 in a midtower. Hard as hell to install and the cable grommets are pretty much covered up completely.

at the same time, you could just route the cables from the HDD opening.

You could do that. And if the case didn't have a window you wouldn't be able to see cables all over the show.

Won't the Arc XL do a better job for SSI CEB?

It would be a better choice if you care more about aesthetics but its also not going to be as quiet and will take up more space. So its up to OP to decide if he would rather have aesthetics or silence.
