Two identical displays but the colours seem different

iconic jamie

So I have two dell ultra sharp displays.

I cannot get the two to show the same. I you bridge a window across two screens you get a definite colour change.

The only thing I can think is I'm running one monitor on a display port and the other through the dvi. Could that be the problem?

Nope. It sound like the monitors aren't calibrated correctly/equally.

"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

I've actually had that happen to me. I just changed the individual color options in the menu in your monitor. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/124392-solved-just-got-another-monitor-asus-pa248q-why-are-my-colors-so-off/#entry1654552

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Forget about the bad memories of the past, take the good ones along with you through the present, and look forwards to the good things that will come in the future.

Yeah I had a play.

I started by setting the two identical and they look way off.

I will try a bit of individual colour adjustment

Reset both the monitor's settings and equally refine them on each one
