Flash causes Firefox to freeze

Godlygamer23

I have no idea why this is happening. But every time I go to watch a Youtube video, Firefox freaks out. It's so bad I had to disable Flash. (currently, I'm using Maxthon for Youtube/Twitch videos) What's causing this? I know Flash is crap, but Maxthon handles it with no issues, and this issue only recently creeped up. I've already tried reinstalling Firefox. Hasn't helped.

make sure your Firefox is release 20 or over. and make sure you have the newest flash installed

then try and uncheck (   use hardware acceleration when available   ) in tools/ options. then reboot firefox

I used beta releases. Does it with the latest official version of both as well. Hardware Acceleration is always enabled.

firefox does not like older video card drivers.

by un checking (   use hardware acceleration when available   ) firefox will work with older drivers. its worth a test try

all so check your video card drivers

all so check on the flash global settings
