Cousin wants to use Digital Storm for a new Computer.

Ok guys, heres the link for the vanquisher model he wants, the level 4 option.at $1,259.

I know custom built get get more for the price, i build PC's for myself and others. But he is impressed with the specs for the price, no hes not a hardware buff and not knowledgeable about computer systems.

So I wanted to make this thread to show him the opinions of some knowledgeable forum members. If anyone is willing to make a parts list for about 1,300 with windows included that would be appreciated thanks!!

Exact build for $250 less, they use a different worse reference design cooler on the GPU though, which cost like an extra $50

I dont think he even need a CPU Cooler in this build, but heck, it's only 30$, and can be reuse later on~

Idk if you need one, I just put the exact parts that the build he mentioned uses and put it into a pcpartpicker to show him the extra $$$ they charge for building it and to make money for their business.

He can definitely get more out of a custom build and for less money. Show him this example. Better CPU, Dual Channel memory (might need to explain to him why dual channel can be superior to a single stick) and even includes a full HD display.
