So i am upgrading my current rig to an Ryzen 5 3600.

But i have no clue what motherboard to get.

I want it to be future proof, so any suggestions are welcome!

B450 boards have been allowed to support Zen 3, but B550 boards should be on the market somewhat soon, which will be good for some comparisons. How soon do you plan on buying?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Was thinking of a Aorus B550 , dont have experience with ASRock are they good?

Simple wait for b550 and it is possible that in August zen 3 will come out ;)

Currently, Gigabyte have the worst boards so I would personally avoid them unless they finally fix their BIOSes. For some unexplained reason Gigabyte insist on overvolting everything and thus CPUs run hotter on their boards

Wait over volting ? Like with VID or pbo or something else ?
