GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7570 1GB

Mobo: MSI 970A SLI Krait Edition.

it could be a lot of things. For one, you are using a weird RAM configuration. A lot of your hardware is close to 10 years old, and things tend to wear out by then. Also, 1GB of VRAM is pretty unusable. Modern GPUs have anywhere from 6-16GB of RAM. it could also be be a loose cable or a component that isn't set properly.

Hmm, I'll look into it. But I think, it is due to software bug or something.

This definitely cannot cause an operating system freeze. A loose cable is also very unlikely to be the cause.

You can try reinstalling your gpu drivers or even Windows itself.

You should also check your boot drive's SMART health status with something like crystaldiskinfo.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

Well, I found out issue. It is that my CPU is hitting max temperatures. It is running like 75°C when being used. My room temperatures are like 35°C average so, 75°C is valid. So, as a protection windows freezes. I checked my BIOS. It is set to Auto overclocks.

I want to have some settings from BIOS that CPU doesn't go beyond 70°C. I can even compromise on performance for now.

Need system stability for now.

PS. I can't change Cooler due to budget.

A quick update. I replaced the thermal paste. Temperatures are good.

I found out crashing is due to AMD 7570. It's last available update 15.7.1 crashes systems.

If anyone can find a link to some old drivers, please let me know.
