[HELP] Wrong USB Format

use rufus do clean up the drive and restore it to normal

Hello, 

So here is the deal. 

I have a DELL Inspirion 7567 1TB HDD stock + additional Adata 256GB SSD m.2 

Today I choose to remove the hdd and put a 120gb samsung 840 evo sata ssd I had lying around. 

After making a bootable win 10 usb to install a fresh windows on my laptop I went to the installation process and the formatting of the ssds. 

Formated the m.2 ssd and the samsung 120gb. 

I wanted to install the windows on the 120gb sata ssd. 

But got the error message: "windows cannot be installed on this disk" 

So I went to cmd with shift+f10 and did the following "which was very stupid from my side" and didn't even think woth my head:

Open the diskpart tool:

diskpart

Identify the drive to reformat:

list disk

select disk <disk number>

clean

convert gpt

exit

 

I saw three disks. At first I was like wtf this must be a bug. So with the commands above I formated the samsung evo ssd and Kingston 128gb USB stick where the windows media creation tool created the installation. 

So now realising the mistake I made went back to my other laptop to format the USB stick back but it's all f ed up. 

The windows doesn't say the size of the usb anymore and regardless the way I format it doesn't change anything It just says "Drive F" 

Normally the usb could be formated only in to ways exFAT and NTFS becuase of the size but now it also can be formated as FAT32. 

Is there a way to fix my USB stick or have I "bricked it"?

I had a really stressful day... first my gtx 980 died on my desktop and now these problems with my laptop. It's a long day.
