How to connect keyboard and mouse to multiple systems outputting to the same monitor?

raj.s.shah

So... here is the situation:

I am currently using an Asus monitor with a single hdmi port that uses an hdmi switch to connect to 3 inputs  (laptop, ps4, and raspberry pi) as well as my gaming pc that is connected via displayport. I want to use the same keyboard and mouse for my laptop, raspberry pi, and gaming pc. My keyboard connects via usb dongle. How can I connect my keyboard and mouse to all systems? My monitor also has a D-Sub port for some reason (if that helps... idk help me I'm a pleb).

Thank you

sounds like you need a kvm, although there's probably some other solutions with software and your network or something like that
