[HELP] Magni 3+ vs Heresey

I have a HD600 and I'm using the Fiio E10K dac+amp, and I want to make a Upgrade in the DAC/AMP Department.

I want to get a Schiit stack Magni + Modi, but i was presented with the choice, at 1st I thought that was about visuals but after reading a bit they are apparently different.

So plz Audiophile Master of the LTT forum help me choose the right one for me!

To be honestly unless you are really into it, you won't notice much going from one SS-Amp to another. I'd rather upgrade the headphones if I were you.

Still, at least for the Schiit Stack, it's one of the best price/performance combo's you can get, don't know about the Heresey as I've never heard of it.

Edit: oh, Hersey is also some Schiit. Gotta be new I guess, I've been out of the game for some time.

From what I hear the heresy is a cleaner in numbers more clinical amp similar if not the same sounding as the atom. while the 3+ has worse numbers but warmer sounding. Otherwise both are pretty good pick the one that appeals to your tastes. As the numbers on the 3+are pretty good as well.
