Anker PowerPort Atom III Slim Review

The PowerPort Atom III Slim is the most compact charger I have had the pleasure to use with full USB-C support (45W PD). It was able to charge my iPhone XS, Apple Watch Series 5, and PowerCore+ 26800 PD 45W battery at the same time, all while keeping a 15” MacBook Pro (2017) fully charged while activity monitor was showing ~60% CPU load.

 

The real benefit of this charger though is that you only have to carry 1 charger + cords instead of 4 chargers to serve the same purpose. This charger takes up way less space, only 1 outlet, and weighs only 8.4oz (charger + power cord). This is compared to 4 separate chargers that would use 4 outlets, take up more space, and weigh 18.8oz. (See pictures)

 

The PowerPort Atom III Slim is very easy to carry around and perfect for someone on the go, someone who has limited outlets. This will definitely be the charger I take with me when traveling in the future. The PowerPort Atom III Slim is truly one of the best new products I have seen from Anker this year.
