Which would we a better monitor choice

Which would be better 1080 p monitor or 1440p both 144hz 1ms freesync for I7 7700k rtx 2070 super MSI gaming x two fan  16gb ram 2133mhz main games I play red dead 2, rainbow six siege, kingdom come just upgraded to 2070 super.

I would get a 1440p moniter 144hz, will hold up for a long time i have a 144hz 1080p moniter and i kinda want to upgrade to have more clarity. Just make sure its a good brand and has a solid panel.,

RTX2070S are a bit overkill for 1080p 144Hz so get 1440p if you can.

Get a 1440p one. Worst case scenario it's not 144FPS on 1440p and you drop the resolution on some games.

For R6 alone I’d do 1080p. 

As I prefer on most FPS games. 

I only use 1440 as a compromise now. 

Main RIg Corsair Air 540, I7 9900k, ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero, G.Skill Ripjaws 3600 32GB, 3090FE, EVGA 1000G5, Acer Nitro XZ3 2560 x 1440@240hz 

 

Spare RIg Lian Li O11 AIR MINI, I7 4790K, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, G.Skill Ares 2400 32Gb, EVGA 1080ti, 1080sc 1070sc & 1060 SSC, EVGA 850GA, Acer KG251Q 1920x1080@240hz
