Actually, it may. Many wireless mice operate on the 2.4GHz channel, just like WiFi does, and therefore it can affect WiFi-signal. That said, wireless mice don't actually transfer lot of data, so any interference would probably not be noticeable.

if i am gaming on my laptop with the mouse next to it i can tell it drops the signal alittle was looking on different speed test while moving my mouse around and it does the speed down but when i have the mouse wired in i dont loose any signal was just wondering

It might, but unlikely cause anything major. The 2.4GHz range is quite busy overall as many devices use it. Using mouse between router and laptops antenna might cause slower speeds, but thats about it. How much slower, well, considering that your phone and every other wireless device uses same frequency, they aren't major. If you have newer laptop and router, setup dual band to gain access to 5GHz. Bit faster and less crowded, but doesn't carry over as many obstacles.
