Use Raspberry Pi as webcam server h264 or RTSP?

Does anyone know of a way to use a raspberry pi combined with a 720p/1080p usb webcam (like the c920) and get it to stream it over the network? Basically i want to turn my c920 into a wifi indoor security camera. All the methods ive seen so far use some sort of jpeg stream, and is usually lower than 30fps. i want something that can do 720p 25-30fps atleast.

 

Any ideas?
