LG TV with LG Magic Remote Notifications?!?

Hi guys,

So I'm using the LG magic remote for my TV, and every 10 seconds or 2 minutes the damn notification pops up, telling me that the remote is ready for use. 
Is there some way to disable that?!? Freaking annoying.

Assuming you got an Android device, cant you just use android's own application notification block feature?

Android device? You mean the TV itself?

Did, didn't help. 
Also tried placing the remote right in front of the tv, to ensure there's always contact. Didn't help.
