Is this good enough for 240Hz?

Can you just summarize how well does your 2080S perform in some games you play daily and I'll shave off like 15% of the average fps (that's about the performance difference between 2080S and 2070S). I don't want to command you what games you should test for me :v. Only thing of importance for me is that you get more than 144 fps in most games, cause that means getting a 240Hz monitor is worth the money.
yeah i would rather go 144hz if im getting 160 frames over 240 as every time the monitor wants a new image there will be a new one for the monitor rather than it waiting for an image,
i was getting 140 - 170 in ground war on high settings, if i turned v-sync on it lowered to between 60 and 75 so i would suggest leaving v-sync off, though in mordern warefares defense the cpu usage when the game launched was between 25 and 35% and after the first update till now, it sits between 50 and 80% usage on my 9900k so im not sure how some others are finding the experience
tbh i would not get the 240hz monitor as the reason i went from a 2070 to 2080 super was that mordhau was running at 80 - 115fps on my 144hz monitor (paired with a 9600k), with the 2070
basically i adjust the settings in any game i play so it sits above 100frames (including the 0.1% lows), usually the games run at above 144hz (may only be slightly) and dip below every now and again i was offering, im just sitting here watching House .M.D on one monitor while i wait for this thing to 3D print so i can then sleep lol, got about 1hr and a half left on the print
