Is it possable to use my PC wifi card to connect router for voip service

Elite Knight

Hello

I was wondering if you can use your 2.4/5.0 GHz WiFi card to use the VoIP service.

I want to connect directly to my Ethernet port on my FTTP modem but it only has 1 active port for 1 Ethernet connection and so is it possible to use my Ethernet and then use WiFi card as a bridge so I can keep my VoIP connected.

Using WiFi Instead of Ethernet.

You could but you would need to use your computer as a router and use your wireless card as an Access point.

I found out my router had a sim card in it as long as I have it plugged in the Ethernet port WAN

If I connect to the internet with the modem connected to the router it will enable the sim-card and use that a wireless mobile connection.

After I unplug the Ethernet and then plug into my PC port

Now that the router connected though mobile connection it even allows me to bridge a 4G connection with my 600 down 300 up.

FTTP: 600 D/ 300 U

4G

5 to 25 Down

1.5 to 3.5 Up

It all so stands for in case of a power outage the router still has power for 30 mins in case you need to call emergency number,

All fixed please lock or remove.
