Plugged in (Charger disconnected)

Hey folks,

I have a crappy old Linx 1010b tablet that always shows as being plugged in, even when the charger is disconnected. Kind of annoying as it stops the tablet from going into any power saving modes. Anyone heard of anything like this happening and perhaps have a possible fix?
