All my pc parts for my 1st build arrive on time but my gpu doesn't come until Monday, but i have a gtx 950 2gb from my old pc.

Is it ok to build the pc and put the gtx 950 until the other arrive to watch youtube and other stuff not gaming?

Im new to this and im kinda scared :F

 

PS: my cpu is a ryzen 2700x

you can use a GTX 950 for gaming, it just won't be amazing.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

yes, it will work, tho gaming performance might not be much better than the old system

thank you, i wont play any games i just want to build it and instal all the software, drivers and games because ryzen 2700x doesnt have a integrated ghrapics so when the new gpu comes monday i just plug it and play.

better DDU and reinstall the driver even if it's another Nvidia card
