Nvidia Graphics card issue (OpenSuse)

Go to solution Solved by GodOfKnockers,

I abandoned installing OpenSuse and went to Ubuntu.

Earlier I managed to install OpenSuse alongside Windows 10 (Thanks again Sauron !), but I now have a small problem. I'm trying to install the Linux drivers for my Nvidia GTX 970, but I have no idea which ones to install. There is one that says it works for 8xxx cards and up, but then the OS stalls out when I reboot. There are also some other versions for 7xx and 6xx cards, but I'm sure those won't work.

Suggestions?

I'm trying to stay on the Red Hat fork so I can be familiar with the same CLI commands as CentOS we use for many servers.  However, the Nvidia driver setup is MUCH easier in Ubuntu.  That makes me constantly consider switching back to Ubuntu.
