No I believe it's software controlled

If you have an msi motherboard you can download mystic light . The Corsair page says it should work.

 

You can connect the fans to corresponding fan headers on the motherboard

No but you don't need one for RGB fans. Just Connect them to the fan headers on your mobo

but the rgb headers r different from fan headers

That's correct. RGB headers are for controlling RGB strips that you might have. Not fans. Also your motherboard doesn't have any RGB headers
