HX850i for C$100?

Recommended Posts

So I've found a deal for a Corsair HX850i PSU for C$100. It's been lightly used, comes with all the cables, and I personally know the seller. I'm looking to use it for another PC that I'll be building soon.

Is this a good deal? Would you pay C$100 for a HX850i?

Thanks!

Not in Canada: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/VgQG3C/corsair-rmx-2018-850w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-cp-9020180-na

Also, it seems like the HX850i keeps its fan off until it hits 400W of power consumption, whereas the RM850x keeps its fan off until it hits 250W or more.

Some old Core 2 Quad system that'll draw less than 200W.

Also note that PSUs are overpriced in Canada, you can check PCPartPicker Canada if you wanna see.
