~$2500-2750 AUD Build Planning

Australia - Programming, Graphic Design and Motion Design Build

renderTimingPixel.png

What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.

  • Planning to use it for programming, graphic design and motion design. Programs include Visual Studio, VS Code, Adobe CC (in particular, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere). I would like to be able to do some casual gaming but not essential.

What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?

  • AU~$2500-2750

When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.

  • Within the next 6 months.

What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)

  • I already have a mouse and 2x 1080p monitors. I just need the case and everything inside of it.

Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?

  • Mackay, Australia

Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?

  • I would eventually overclock down the line

Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)

  • I would prefer for it to be a Micro ATX system with a Ryzen 2700x, NVME M.2 SSD and then a 2TB hard drive for storage purposes

Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?

  • No

Extra info or particulars:

  • I'd like to have the ability to upgrade parts in the future.

The cost needs to be in AUD!!!

I would put this build up to discussion.

Note that adobe cc runs better on Intel Chips. What GPU you need is dependend on your need for VRAM. Do you edit big projects in 4k or even 8k? Might need something else. Maybe a 1060 6 GB would be enough.

I put 32 GB in but depending on your projects you might need more.

Second SSD as a Scrap disk. I think Puget Systems is recommending a 3x SSD Setup for Adobe Premiere. System Disk (SATA SSD), Project Disk and Source File Disk (NVMe).

And I am not sure about that case. Airflow might be a problem.
