Surface Go stuck in S mode

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Surface Go on amazon. I tried installing apps but it's stuck in S mode. When I try to activate its giving me an error. I don't get why it's telling me that I Can't connect to the organisation's activation server since the edition is Windows 10 Home.

I can understand if the product isn't activated yet. My question is if I buy a genuine windows key will I be able to activate this? I don't want to shell out 100+ dollars and for it to still say that I cant connect to the organisation servers.

Make sure your date and time is precisely correct, restart, make sure that Windows is fully updated, and try again. If that does not help, try setting your region to United States, and try again.

If that doesn't work, did you happen to link your account to your school or work e-mail address? Or is it a local account, or using your private Microsoft account (@hotmail.com, @live.com, @outlook.com)
