Hi there, I recently upgraded my PC to the following components; AMD Ryzen 3 1200 GTX 1650 ASRock A320m-HDV MB 2x 8gb Crucial Memory Now I have been having trouble installing the Ryzen Master software (it not having any of it), but I have noticed that (even though the CPU and GPU are an upgrade on my previous the GeForce Experience app tells recommends that I lower the quality of my games settings from what I used to play on. I am also having trouble with being able to stream as well as play a game at the same time now. During streaming I have had issue with the hardware encoder, it wouldnt start streaming due to an "error". And a couple times while testing it shut the stream down, and when it did work it was making the stream stutter. My current tech guy just thinks its a setting somwhere on the system but after going through the BIOS , which is limited due to the MB, and trying to check drivers etc I cant think of anything else without it being hardware. Thanks

Hi, hello there guys, would love to have some good advice of what GPU i could get if im currently using a Ryzen 3 2200g CPU on my rig. I'm opting to upgrade to much higher spec CPU sooner but i guess I would go for a GPU upgrade first since I think i really need it firs to enhance few of my gaming experience on my 2200g cpu. Would be a RX570 or RX580 okay to get to use with my 2200g and sooner upgrade to R5, or is there any other GPU that i could get? Thank you so much for the suggestions. My setup right now: CPU: Ryzen 3 2200G (Cooling with a single rad AIO) RAM: Hyper X Fury 8gb 3200mhz (x2) Mobo: Asrock x370 Fatality Gaming X SSD: 250GB M.2 HDD: WD Green 1TB PSU: 550W TR PSU

I have an issue that I can't seem to resolve on my own and through the research I've found. MB: (new) ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING Socket AM4 CPU: (used) AMD Ryzen 3 1300X (Stock CPU Cooler) GPU: (used) EVGA 1080ti / EVGA 1060 PSU: (new) Corsair CX650F SSD/HDD: (used) 1 main SSD with Windows 10 installed, 2 alternate 4TB HDD for media storage. RAM: (used) Team T-Force Vulcan 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model TLGD416G3000HC16CDC01 The CPU, GPU, and RAM are from an old system I used and have purchased a new MB and PSU. I have connected everything in the computer and when powering on, the Q-LED Indicator light on the Motherboard flashes through Red, White, and ultimately stays solid on Green, with no display output. From Asus support The Motherboard appears to boot correctly, indicated by Green boot light (no boot device) The fans on the CPU Cooler, Chassis, and GPU are all spinning correctly. I disconnected all other drives except the SSD, but still does not boot. I've added a speaker connected to the MB and get a single beep, which seems like everything is okay, based on Asus Support I want to attempt to update the BIOS settings or just update the BIOS in general, but I have no display output. The 1300x does not support on-board graphics, so I can't use the output directly from the motherboard. I've tried all ports on the 1080ti (Display ports and HDMI) with no luck. I've swapped the 1080ti with an older 1060 with no luck. I've swapping/reseating the RAM with no luck. It appears that the ASUS ROG board do not support FLASHBACK to update bios directly from USB drive with physical button. Does anyone know if there is a way to update bios without a display? Does anyone have any other tips to try - I am stuck not sure what else to do!

I'm still a newbie when it comes to building pc, and I just built my first pc. I use a Ryzen 3 3100 using MSI B450M Pro-VDH Max motherboard, HyperX Fury 8GB (2x4) RAM, Corsair CV450 PSU, RX 550 4GB, Adata SSD 120GB, and Seagate Barracuda 1TB. When I first turn on my pc, all the fans are working and the rgb in the fan lights up but the DRAM and CPU EZ debug LED lights up. So I took all the part from the case and try to reseat the RAM and CPU. But after I put all the parts back in, it turns on for a second then it turns off. After that, it never turns on again. Is it possible that the PSU is the problem or maybe is it possible there's a short circuit in the motherboard? Sorry for the bad English, any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Edit: I have touched the PCB on the motherboard, is it possible that the motherboard got damage from static charges?

Hello I need some help on overclocking a Ryzen 3 3200G on AMD Ryzen Master. I know very little and I cannot find tutorials on how to specifically overclock the APU. So could someone recommend me a decent overclock and how to do it? Everything is at stock and I have a beefy Cooler so I should be good with anything.

I'm building a new AMD PC, currently with Ryzen 3700x, 16GB 3600 MHz CL16 RAM and Nvidia 2070 Super. For the MOBO I am looking at MPG B550 Gaming Edge (WiFi) to get the most out of my 3700x which I will pair with an NZXT Kraken X63 280mm AIO and also be able to upgrade to a more powerful CPU in the future (perhaps Ryzen 4000 series). But then I saw the AMD motherboard tier list and there the MSI B550 Tomahawk is listed as tier S while the B550 Edge is not present. The X570 Edge however is present in the tier C so does the B550 also lie there? Looking at the product pages of the Tomahawk and the Gaming edge I see no difference whatsoever. From what I know the MPG series is higher end compared to the MAG series, so the tier list confused me especially since according to MSI's official specs they are identical. Given this, which motherboard is better for my use case? Price wise the I can get the Edge with wifi for less than $20 extra over the Tomahawk (without wifi). Also another question - For the current specs and possibility of upgrade in the future, will a 650W PSU be fine or should I get something higher capacity? pcpartpicker list

I was looking for a air cooler to replace my stock one which came with my Ryzen 3 2200G because I want to overclock the hell out of it [CPU @ 3.9GHz and iGPU @ 1650MHz] So, I went online and selected some air coolers based on my current and upgrade path as well as availability and price: 1. Cooler Master Hyper 212 - 2850 INR Little bit on the expensive side and personally, I'm not a fan of how it looks.... 2. Deepcool Gammax GTE V2 - 2244 INR I like how it looks, but will it perform the same as Hyper 212? I've heard lots of good things about the Hyper 212 What are your thoughts? I have no more than 3000 INR to spend. (INR = Indian currency) Other brands like Noctua and some other more reputed brands are out of stock.. SO...

Budget (including currency): 250.000Ft-400.000Ft (Hungarian Forint) = 800USD-1300USD Country: Hungary Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016-2018, AutoCAD 2018 Other details Hi everyone! I'm looking for a build to replace my father's old workstation for a new one. Currently, his "fastest" workstation at his office has an i5-2400, 16GB of RAM and a Quadro FX 3800. Of course, with a WD Black HDD. It's struggling with 2D basic utility drawings which takes up about 5-15MB/file, so nothing heavy. When other things are running in the background, it's nearly useless. (I know, an SSD would be a big upgrade but AutoCAD is still lagging badly.) Currently, he's using 2 FHD monitors which won't be upgraded in the near future. Maybe after 5 years, 4K displays will be more consumer-friendly and affordable. Nothing 3D or very heavy task. He wants a future-proof computer, so he asked for his IT guy. He offered my dad a 3300USD workstation which is in my opinion, totally unnecessary. That one would have an i9-7920x, 64GB of RAM and a Quadro P4000. Now, he also sent me a link for an HP Z Tower G4 which is running on a Xeon-E-2274G, 32GB of RAM and a Quadro P2200. (+ 512GB PCIe SSD) I couldn't find price for that but with the same CPU, 16GB of RAM, half the storage and with integrated graphics, it costs between 1500-2000USD. This looks good but very expensive. I searched for an image what my father draws usually. Or something similar, maybe 2x bigger. (I will search for more similar drawings if needed or link one of his work if possible.) As I know, AutoCAD is not really a multithreaded application, so as I understand, the Single-thread performance on passmark is a very good point of the performance of that CPU. Now, I also made a list what I would buy which is this: Ryzen 3 3300X start with 16GB of RAM and upgrade that later if needed and a Quadro P2200. The other parts doesn't matter for now. (SSD, nice PSU, basic case, motherboard with 4 RAM slots, it doesn't need to be fancy, just a basic turnon-work-turnoff) As I checked the scores and comparisons, the Ryzen has a better single-core performance. I checked it on Passmark and on UserBenchmark. The Ryzen's TDP is half of the i9's. During these drawings, I don't think that the i9 would have a huge advantage at that price point. My father runs a single-employee business (him), so it would be good if the workstation was not really expensive. Thank you very much for any help or advice! Please, correct me if I'm wrong somewhere!

I have 3900x with (what I think) PBO+AutoOC are active. However in my bios of my motherboard I have 2 different PBO options one with the "accept/decline" to enter into the option & than the PBO option without that message. I feel like I've watched so many videos on which to use. Does it matter? Should I just leave it on stock. The only things changed manually as of writing this is XMP/D.O.C.P. and fabric clock of memory. Should I put both PBO options on enabled. I don't see Precision boost 2 anywhere in bios but I know it's different. PBO+AutoOC+200mh is the settings currently.Everything else stock settings.

So i have an AMD ryzen 3 1200 cpu , that i can't overclock for some reason , the voltage raises from (1.12v to 1.29v) but the CPU core speed still the same at 3.45Ghz when i change it at 3.8GHz on BIOS , I have a msi A320M-A PRO MAX motherboard. On BIOS it says that is 3.8GHz overclock but when i run the stress tests it's stuck at 3.45Ghz , on CPU-Z says the same , stuck at 3.45Ghz. Any help ? I can provide Screenshots if needed

Hello, first and foremost I would like to state that my computer building and knowledge of PCs is rather low so please understand that this may be a rather "noob" question. I have recently built a entry level budget gaming/work PC with the following specs: CPU: Ryzen 3 2200G MOBO: B450M/ac RAM: 8gb (2x4gb 2666 MHz) GPU: Radeon RX 580 I just installed the GPU and was using the APU until this last week, so I was monitoring the specs of the RX 580 with HW Monitor. The case I am using is a Rosewill Ranger M with little to no cable management room so my insides are a hot mess (quite literally) as my GPU was clocking in at 85-90 degrees Celsius while playing. Long story short, my questions are as follows for anyone that may be able to offer guidance: -What is considered a safe range for GPU temps? I was only playing for about 20-30 minutes by the time it reached 90 -Does cable management effect my temp issues all that much in this case? Photo of my build for reference. -Would anyone recommend an open concept style case or a test bench case option instead? I am rather fond of the look of the test bench instead of a case but worry if that may not be safe or practical for a day to day use computer like mine. Thank you in advance! IMG_5191.HEIC

Hi, I have two three plans: 1. buy B550 and 3300X once those are on shelves. That's it. 2. buy B550 and 3300X once those are on shelves and upgrade to 4000 or 5000 series amd ryzen when those are out. 3. wait for 4000 series ryzen CPU's to arrive. Current rig: i3-4150 gtx 970 6gb dd3 ram (4+2, don't ask) My GPU is not so great, but damn even it gets bottlenecked hard by this CPU. I can't really play new games... well at reasonable fps at least. So I was wondering what would you do? Don't want to just throw money left and right, so not sure if buying 3300X now and upgrading later is a good decision, since you know... I'll play 130eur for new CPU and sell it later for 50eur at best. Then there's also Intel... I currently play WoW mostly, and I've heard Intel is better for that game, how much true is it tho? Thanks peeps.

pc building Need advice on new AMD 3 3300x
krakilin12 posted a topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Hello everyone, I am here for some advice on what i should do regarding the new AMD motherboard plataform, and the Ryzen 3 3300x. I am building my first pc, have been saving and waiting for the right time to do it for about 5 years, and i need to know what to do now, should i buy the 3300x with a b450 motherboard, or should i wait for the b550 motherboards to come out, and if so, what kind of price should i expect them to be when they release. Im aiming for a 120 euro budget for the motherboard. I thank in advance for any suggestions you guys make. Thank you for your time.
