Hello all, I work for a company that does ADA compliance assessments among other things, we use pretty bad digital cameras because we can customize how the photos are named. We can also quickly tell the assistant surveyor what photo numbers to attach to a specific finding while out in the field because the camera overlays the photo number on the image. Ex: "Overall photos for dwelling unit 313 are 0035 through 0045". Ex: When starting a new survey, we set the photo range to start at 0001. After we take these photos, we use a program to batch rename these files to append a 2 letter surveyor code (Ex: OQ) followed by the date (232003) and the photo number. The result would be a file name of "OQ232003-0001". We intend to keep the system for batch renaming in place, but we would like to replace the need for these digital cameras. They produce awful looking photos compared to modern smartphones. The problem is I can't find an app that allows the user to choose when to start or stop a number sequence for photos. Anyone know of an app like this or would I have to waste weeks attempting to develop it myself coming from 0 coding experience?

I'm claiming warranty on my memory as it's been tested to be defective, which code is the serial number? I've uploaded a generic image from google which is the same as my modules.

Hey everyone, I've made some code to generate an array full of random numbers (between 2 points), to create a "Set" of data to be analyzed. This works fine - I've got my random set, but for it to be counted as a valid set, it has to have no duplicate numbers. Sure, I can make the RNG to a really high number and hope I don't get a duplicate, but that is beside the point. (In fact, I tried that and still got 3 repeated numbers...) How would I make my RNG generate a random set of numbers without duplicates? Here's the code for my RNG if this is of any help: int length = 9; Random r = new Random(); int yes; int[] setS = new int[9]; for (int i = 0; i < length; i++) { setS[i] = r.Next(1, 19); Console.WriteLine(setS[i]); } I've had a look at multiple sites, such as StackOverflow and I don't fully understand the methods people are showing on how to solve this problem. Thanks for any help given.

So, I was on my phone today, just wasting time. I went to put it away, and pressed the lock button the lock the screen - except apparently I didn't. I must not have clicked it properly (it's slightly broken on my phone) and a few minutes later I get a text. Turns out, my phone (because it's screen was on) was clicking all sorts of stuff in my pocket, and I found that it had clicked an ad for a company called SnackGames. The text said the following: "Thank you for subscribing to SnackGames' premium text service for £2.70/wk! Send STOP to 89365 to opt out." Obviously, I immediately sent the text to cancel this bullshit subscription which my phone had accidentally signed on to. I got a confirmation text "You have unsubscribed from SnackGames' weekly service" and that should have been the end of it, right? Wrong. 20 minutes later I got another text, "Enjoy UNLIMITED Games @ Snackgames!", etc. etc. Fuck. So, what do I do? I don't want to keep receiving texts from these people, nor do I want to be paying weekly for them. I texted them STOP, but I got another message from them less than a half hour later. Is there anything I can do to get them to leave me alone permanently, and ensure they're not taking my money?

When i am browsing for a new CPU i love to take a loooooooot of time looking at the specs but something confuses me .Every Intel CPU that i look up has # Of PCI-e lanes but i do not see that on AMD cpus not even on official amd website. Am i just blind and don't see it , or does amd hide that number on official site oooorrr they don't have this limitation ???? I have a couple more questons : 1 : Do those PCI-e lane reffere to only GPUs and not other cards like : networking cards , sound cards .... ???? 2 : How many of PCI-e lanes does Athlon X4 880k support P.S. I am sorry for bad English , i know how to speak it but i don't know how to write some words. I live ( and am born ) in Serbia so we do not speak English here. Thank you.

Hey all, so I've just started a PhD in theoretical physics and was planning on building a computer for number crunching. I'm not sure what type of processor to get, or how important fast ram is. I'm wondering if having more cores will help do many different calculations at the same time, or if having fewer cores but faster ones is better. I also understand that more ram is better in this case, but I was unsure as to the importance of it's speed. Lastly, because I wont be gaming on this the graphics card doesn't need to be great but I love having multiple screens. If anyone has any experience it would be appreciated. If you want more specifics I'm going to be doing a lot of numerical integration, solving high order polynomials, diagonalizing massive matrices, and probably using mathematica too.

Maybe a dumb question but why do some ATX motherboards have six screw holes while others have nine? Are the ones with nine really EATX but mistakenly labeled as ATX??? I assume the ones with nine holes would be sturdier than only six?

Hello, I need to make a program in {c} that would give me prime number for entered number (example is user enter 50. to write back 229) So, I am stuck when making loop. I am tring to define for row[100] to have row[0]=2,row[1]=3 and then I make i=4 and try to make a loop that would for number i devide number i with every single number in the row (becose those I know are prime numbers) and get module (number after 0,not sure how it is said on english), and then if if all of them have module !=0 then I know it is prime number and I want to add it into row. So is there a way somebody can help me write this line? Thanks alot in advance

I found an interesting challenge online where you are supposed to return the number of 0s at the end of a factorial calculation like 30!. Now according to my calculations 30! should be around 2.652528598121911e+32. Javascript can't display the number how I would like it with all 0s at the end but only in exponential notation. My understanding of exponential notation was that I take all numbers before "e" so in this case "2652528598121911" => 16 numbers and subtract that from my e+N like so: 32 - 16. This returns 16 which is wrong, the correct answer is 7. I've never been too amazing in Math so this is probably the wrong approach? How can I get the number of 0s at the end of a factorial number in Javascript? //returns the factorial of a given numberconst getFact = (n, acc = 1) => (n > 1) ? getFact(n - 1, n * acc) : acc;const zeros = n => { //get factorial of n let fact = getFact(n); //match numbers that are not exponential like 12300000, then extract the number of 0s at the end if(fact.toString().match(/e/) === null) return fact.toString().match(/0*$/)[0].split('').length; //match exp. numbers let matched = fact.toExponential().match(/\.(\d*).+(\+\d*)/); //calculate e+(X) - number of numbers before e => 1.22e+5 = 5 - 3 return Number(matched[2]) - (matched[1].length + 1); }

The disappearing message bug that occurs when switching from an Iphone to a different device has apparently been fixed with this web tool. The article states that, "all you need to do is enter the phone number you wish to uncouple from Apple's iMessage system. Apple will then send you a confirmation code over SMS — type it into the browser window and you'll be home free". I recently integrated Google Voice with my phone, but when I make calls from it, I get something like this. That number at the top is not my Google Voice number, nor is it my cell phone number. It also changes every time I make a call. My question is, what phone number will the person I'm calling see? That number, or my Google Voice number? Also, what is that number? I'm trying to switch a lot of stuff over to Google Voice, because I may be changing carriers to T-Mobile in anticipation of the OnePlus pre-orders, and I can't get it on my current carrier (I'm on Virgin Mobile now). Walmart has a pretty awesome deal for T-Mobile phones -- $30/month for 5GB of data and unlimited texting, but only 100 minutes, so moving to Google Voice would be very helpful.

We have a winner! The magic number was 46. Thanks everyone for playing! I'm thinking of a number between 0 and 299. The first to guess correctly receives a Uplay code for Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. GO (No spamming. 3 +1 guesses max.)

I haven't got to redeem my 8 games that come with the 7990 yet, and I tried doing so. Problem is, it requires a so-called "Sapphire Identification Number", which I cannot locate. It says that it should come in the box as some extra piece of paper or something, but I only got the "Congratulations for buying AMD" paper. I've looked in the box again, there's nothing else in it except the anti-static bag. Any ideas of what I should do? EDIT: I found the code. Sorry for the short thread, just disregard it.

So I made this code a few months ago to calculate prime numbers. It automatically fetches the last number from the file and continues to calculate prime numbers from that point, meaning that you can start and restart the programs as many times as you want without having to worry about losing progress. It appends every prime number to the file so it is not totally useless. Currently it has calculated 157,899 prime numbers, which is all the ones up to 2,130,307. I have also done some other projects on developing a program to calculate prime numbers around 1X10 to the power of 32 and beyond (it takes a long time to calculate them though), I have also made a calculator which calculates prime numbers within a range. If anyone wants these or the text file with 157,899 prime numbers (this number will grow by the day) I can make them available. I run a modified version which was converted to an .exe by a Python extension which allows it to run in CMD, I'm pretty more resources are allocated to it in this version so you probably want to convert it yourself. So anyway here is the code. file=open("PrimeNumbers.txt","r")read=file.readlines()y=read[-1]y=y.rstrip()y=int(y)y=y+1a=y+2000000file.close()i=1if y<2: y=2for x in range (y,a): c=2 r=x-1 loop=0 for loop in range (2,r): y=x%loop if y==0: c=c+1 if c>2: x=0 if c<=2: print(x) x=str(x) x=x+"\n" file=open("PrimeNumbers.txt","a") if i==1: file.write("\n") file.write(x) file.close() i=0 It could probably be more efficient but I stopped working on the code several months ago. Please note that there is a bug with the program where it writes a blank line at the start of every execution, this bug can probably fixed but I just use Notepad++>TestFXEdit>Delete Blank Lines. You must also create a PrimeNumbers.txt file in the same folder before executing this code, it should have the number you want to start on in it. You're welcome to modify and use this code as you see fit, just please reference me and this post. Thanks for reading!

Hi guys, I'm learning python and having a little trouble with my program. It's supposed to generate the next prime number when the user hits enter. Instead it is just returning the odd numbers. number = 5 def generate_prime(num): for i in range(2,num): if (num % i) == 0: num += 1 generate_prime(num) return(num) while True: input("Hit enter to get the next prime number.") print(generate_prime(number)) number = generate_prime(number) + 1 I've looked at prime number check examples and the formula seems correct. Any pointers would be helpful as i'm stuck and a good hint might get me going. Thanks.
