I am having trouble deciding between using Mayhems Ice White pastel with the Mayhems non-stain blue dye or going with Primochill Opaque sky white SX with Primochill Steel Blue Intensifier transparent dye. Which is better and will either gunk up my system? I will have pedestals for radiators using soft tube (primochill advanced LRT) and use pass-through fittings with acrylic tubing for my main loop. I also will clean it with mayhems blitz pt 1 and 2 for my system. I assume I won't experiance and 'gunking up' in my loops. Thanks for your help!

Hi I just drained and and upgraded my loop then filled it up with de-ionized water, I remembered I had some part 2 of the blitz kit and I'm just wondering if I could just pour some into my res and run it for a few hours... Opinions?

Hello, I want to use mayhems xt-1 nuke uv clear sky blue coolant in my system. I was hoping to use PETG but I am getting some conflicting information. Mayhems support says it is compatible but all my research says it is not. Was hoping someone here with experience could clear up the confusion for me! Thanks!

Do you guys know whether the second part of a Mayhems Blitz cleaning kit will play nice with an EK Aluminum system? (Note, PART TWO - that's the general system cleaner, NOT the more extreme radiator-specific cleaner! I'm pretty sure that Part ONE is NOT compatible with aluminum, on account of Mayhems explicitly saying so!)

I want to start water cooling and kinda afraid of using Mayhems pastel as I've heard it gunks up loops and has discoloration problems, so my best bet would probably be colored tubing and good old distilled water. I prefer acrylic over PETG tubing so what tubes should I get? Tubing Size:12 ID/16 OD

I recently bought watercooling gear of a guy on ebay and he gave me a free bottle of Mayhems Pastel Red 900ml. I knew there was a kicker but I took it as it was supplied to me for free. When I unpacked the bottel it says 'can be stored for up to 3 years (if dry and blabla)'. The date on it says 18.09.2014. I am new to watercooling and this is my first system. I will be using 2 new EK rads and a preused EK Supremacy Evo and a preused Powercolor R9 290x LCS with an EK block, all of which willl be flushed before use. I have heard mediocre things about mayhems. I have seen Jayztwocents videos and heard from other people online. From what I know the worst thing that could happen ist that the fluid breaks down after a short amount of use or has already brocken down in the bottle while stored. This could cause clogging which will be a major issue and will have to be cleaned out asap and the fluid will have to be replaced. I have the pennies to buy another bottle but red fits my build so ... here I am wondering if i should use it Mayhems has not responded to my support request regarding this issue so there is that. TL;DR can you use Mayhems pastel beyond 3 years of storage?

So i'm doing my first loop very soon. EK Parts with PromoChill Vue Cobalt. I see some complaints about things people forgot or dind't clean well so here I am to ask. The Mayhems Blitz Cleaning System will be used to clean everything, the build will have. (will put links to the exact components in a hour or 2) EK-Supremacy EVO - Acetal Asus 1080 Ti Poseidon (built in) Asus z370 Formula X (built in VRM) EK-CoolStream SE 360 (Slim Triple) EK-CoolStream SE 240 (Slim Dual) D5 Pump with Res (not sure which one yet.) PETG Hard tubing Are there more things I can think about to get the most limited amount of problems with the coolant.

Hey guys, I hope that you can assist me in this issue that I’ve been having with the Mayhems UV Sky Clear Blue. Problem being that the dye fades within a half an hour, and dulls completely within a day. (Difference is shown in the attached photos). Loop’s components are as follows: -Fluid: -CVS Distilled Water -Mayhems Non Stain UV Sky Clear Blue -Thermaltake C1000 Pure Clear Coolant -Tubing: -EKWB PETG Hardline -Waterblocks: -EK-FB ASUS Z270/Z370 Strix RGB Monoblock - Nickel -EK-FC1080 GTX Ti Aorus Backplate - Black -EK-FC1080 GTX Ti Aorus - Nickel (rev. 2.0) -EKWB Nickel Fittings and Nickel Accessories: -HDC fittings -Ball Valve, T-Junction, 90° Elbow, Extenders, Stoppers -Other Accessories: -Thermaltake Pacific Temperature Sensor -Silver kill coil -Radiator: -XSPC EX560 Radiator -Pump: -Thermaltake Pacific DIY LCS PR22-D5 w/Mod Kit (CL-W083-PL00BL-A) -UV Light Strip: -CABLEMOD LED STRIP UV MAGNET 60CM Any ideas? Thanks! (Side note- I know that the pump is far enough from the LED that the reaction isn’t easy to see there... but that doesn’t explain the fluid in the pipes not reacting.)

I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with the colour falling out of their pastel liquid? I'm currently using Mayhems Pastel Extreme White. I left the country for 3 weeks and when I returned all the colour has settled to the bottom of the loop (and I assume within the pump and blocks) and I'm left with clear liquid in the rest of the loop. I'm just wondering if this is normal and if this will cause my blocks/pump to gunk up..

Hey guys, I need some help with picking out the right coolant for my build, along with the colour scheme for my sleeved cables. As you can see it is not quite finished yet, still some tubing left to bend. Currently my system is very neutral and I would like to keep it nice and clean looking. Main colours used are: Black Chrome, Titanium Grey and Silver. A crappy quality picture below: I will be using Mayhems coolants, and my current favourites are: 1) Distilled water with purple dye (along with biocide/killcoil of course) 2) Pastel Ice White + perhaps a blue dye (any colour that you think will suit is welcome as a suggestion, i don't like premixes so I will dye the fluids myself) 3) Just clear distilled water ( I know this one will work well but I'd like to try with some colour first ) Now once the colour is decided then I can go for some custom cables to match. For those I would like to use Icemodz, and here is some of their amazing work: http://www.icemodz.eu/showcase-cables/ Now if the fluid is clear I can go with black, grey and silver sleeving (and try different patters to see what suits). If the fluid is not clear, then I will have black and grey cables with colour inserts ( so maybe like 2 or 3 of the sleeves will be whatever colour the fluid is). What do you guys think? Many thanks,

tubing Any reviews on Mayhems Ultra Clear tubing?
Gill posted a topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
Hi all, Did anyone try Mayhems Ultra Clear Tubing? I tried twice using PrimoChill Primoflex Advance LRT and it both cases this tube is leaching when hitting ~43c water temps. The Mayhems doesn't suppose to leach but I didn't read reviews on it. I wonder if anyone here tried. -
I'm looking for a decent coolant for my blood red system and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations. I don't mind if it's a premix or distilled water dye etc, but I've heard of quite a few red fluids which separate, change colour, badly dye tubing and resevoirs or react with components. So has anyone and suggestions? Oh, and I've seen the EK premix, and don't really want a pinkish colour. cheers

So... I'm leaning towards the pastel ice white as it matches and just looks slick. On the other hand, the aurora I'm experimenting with looks pretty cool, you get to actually see it flowing. I dont need to be told about it's dangers too, I've monitored it and it's running well and if it clogs I can clean the system. I would have to change my cables to a black or maybe silver type to match the aurora better. So... Pastel White, or Aurora silver what do you guys think (the don't make supernova white aurora anymore) Also I'm talking to mayhems about mixing the aurora booster into the ice white pastel for a small aurora affect with the pastel white to make a sort of supernova white What do you guys think? ********* Update *************** I went with the Pastel Ice White, it just looks so dang perfect with it verses just the "Cool" looking silver. Turned out to work good too, I won the facebook High Performance PC Gaming rig of the month for may, got a decent 50 bucks for it. Thanks for voting on the coolant guys! ********** Aurora 2 Silver ****************** ********** Pastel Ice White ****************

Hi, I was cleaning my water cooling loop with mayhems blitz part 2 and I sprung a leak. Fortunately the pc was not running just the pump. Mainly the gpus got wet. Now I'm wondering if I have to clean the pcbs or just let them dry? The liquid was a mix of water, blitz part 2 and some pastel coolant. Any help would be appreciated.

I wanna use mayhems pastel coolant in my build, but I heard that colored coolants will gunk and destroy whole loop. Is it true? If I use this this coolant will it happen to me? Thanks.

Any users or former users of Clear UV liquid?
YvesT posted a topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
Being trying to find some review on youtube about clear UV liquid. But not much luck, so hoping someone over here might have some experience with it. Was considering either Mayhems X1 clear uv or Nonaxia CF1 clear UV. But started thinking how good it actually is, and if i should rethink the color and just use Blue UV. Main reason i wanted to go for clear is to avoid the build up i got with the Fesser blood red UV i got now. -
I've had my (first ever) loop up and running for about 6 weeks now and had opted for a blue theme and obviously wanted a liquid dye to fit with the overall look. I knew that Mayhems was extremely popular but my admittedly half-assed search only turned up their pastel colors and the light blue simply wouldn't have fit with the look. I ended up going with Primochil - specifically the Steel Blue concentrated dye you add to distilled water yourself. I can safely say that I was not happy with the final color and no matter how much of the dye I added it simply wouldn't get any darker than what you see in the picture below. Things basically got worse from this point and 3 weeks later all traces of the dye had disappeared from the water and I was left with what looked like pure distilled water! I went back and took a proper look at Mayhems and found that they did sell a concentrated non-stain blue dye, so I purchased this, drained my loop and filled it back up using the Mayhems stuff. I am now much happier with the color but I wanted to know if anyone else has had similar issues with the Primochill dye or is something strange happening in my loop that I'm not aware of?

Hi, I've just gone ahead and ordered a 2nd 970GTX to SLI my rig. My first question is: 1) Im currently using dual loops for the CPU and the GPU. How much will an additional 970GTX affect the current loop temps of the GPU loop? Using a 360mm deep rad at the moment and my current GPU never exceeds 45C with low fan speeds. 2) Im using Mayhems Pastel coolants which were donated as part of my sponsor. I've had a couple of issues with the red coolant in that it seems to loose its colouring pretty fast from been vibrant to murky within a few weeks. It happened the first time when the PC wasn't used for a couple of months, i thought nothing of it and replaced the coolant and it happened again within a couple of weeks. The second time i completed flushed it and used a Mayhems blitz kit on it and refreshed it before refilling it again. Now it's happened again and I would like to know what the cause is. Anyone experienced this before?

I am switching from Raystorm 750 EX280 to a build with tube reservoir, with clear tubing, color coolant. Paper represent the size of real thing. Here: I still want to keep the bottom 2 fans. Should I switch to a smaller reservoir? or just get a XSPC res/pump combo 270 http://www.performance-pcs.com/d5-photon-270-reservoir-pump-combo.html Or maybe someone can show me another way of mounting things?

Hey guys, Before reading this you should know that this is an idea that I would like to realize, I'm asking for help there for please answer like a normal person, criticism is is welcome, just be polite. So let's start: I'm building my new water cooled PC and my project is pretty ambitious, it's a dual CPU workstation in a Caselabs SMA8, if you need all the specs please ask me, but since I've seen a lot of builds I want to do something new, or at least try. Here is a sketch of the loop. I know it has quite a lot of flaws that's why I'm here, could you please tell me what's completely wrong and what/how I can fix it? Thanks, Theo PS. Sorry for the quality I made it on my IPad in 10 minutes. EDIT: The radiator is offscreen, on the bottom. The two pipes going under are going to connect on the left, then go in the radiator. From the radiator it's the going up to the first reservoir trough the back.
