So I have just picked up a used pc the other day because it is going to be a present from my sister to her boyfriend tomorrow. I have tested it by playing a few games on it for around 3-4 hours a day, in the last 2 days, for a total of around 8 hours ish. 2 times it has crashed with the "kernel power 41 (63)" error. I haven't seen a bsod just that it restartet. both times was within the first minutes of me turning on the computer. It has not happend while I have played games on it yet and therefore it seems like (so far) that it doesn't happen at all if it just works for the first 5-10 min of me turning on the pc. So I hoped that could maybe rule out faulty hardware, but I wanted to hear what you guys think and also what you would propose I tried. I would really like to fix it for my sister before she has to give it as a present This is the PC I bought. It is a OEM and not a prebuild. Hello! I just switched my power supply, thinking it was a PSU issue, and the blue screens continue. I've reseeded my GPU and RAM and ran diagnostics on the RAM and it works fine. The only event in Event Viewer is Kernal Power 41 (63). My next best guess is a motherboard issue. If anyone has any suggestions please comment! Hi, I have recently been playing around with my fire hd 8 2017 it is rooted and has a custom rom (lineage os 14.1) I'm looking for a custom kernal that can let me overclock past 1.30GHz around 1.50GHz would be great, any help is greatly appreciated!

i am experiencing several crashes a day. the error message is almost always different and the cause is almost always ntoskrnl.exe, this is apparently the windows NT kernel. i refreshed my pc recently and replaced almost all the hardware, all the old drivers are gone as far as i can tell. all the new drivers are up to date except AMD Radeon software because i tried a few different versions of that. I've ran 'chkdsk /f /r' & 'sfc /scannow' commands and neither detected an issue, I've also did the memory check. i am genuinly at the end of my rope with this, dose anyone know anything else i can try.

I have been getting kernal security check failure and i don't know how to fix it? could someone help me with this? Thanks

I randomly get crashes (not blue screens, however my monitor turns black computer momentarily powers off then starts back up (similar to a restart without the "restarting..." gui). Files do not save and usually cannot be recovered after a crash, I did check WhoCrashed and there were 0 logs relating to this issue. At first I thought it might be a RAM issue, I had it RMA'd and even with these new RAM sticks I have the same problem. One thing to note is even when I was running memtest86+ my computer crashed (does this rule out the driver issue?). It's been running fine for 5 months.

From time to time my PC will randomly Shutdown with no Blue Screen. It happened only 4 times this year but still quite annoying. Also I noticed when I was shutting down my PC it would come up with a Critical Error in Event Viewer, I Disabled Fast Start Up and this stopped the error occurring upon shutdown.

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly. Happens when system is idle, every 2-3 days on average Is my system basically saying it wants more voltage? The CPU is overclocked to 4.25Ghz using the BCLK , currently voltage is at 1.27v Ran Aida64 for 6 hours, along with the Valley benchmark just going in loops for 6 hours as well Test went smoothly (Both CPU and GPU is overclocked) Help would be much appreciated Edit This is the total number of times it happened

I am at I complete loss. I don't know what to do anymore. Every time I just want to PLAY A GAME my Kernal Display Drivers crash and shut down the game before it even finishes loading. I have REINSTALLED EVERYTHING, DONE A FACTORY RESTORE, GOT A NEW OS, DONE AN RMA, AND NOTHING HAS FIXED THE ISSUE. I don't really have much to say, what more should I say I've done? Specs: Windows 7 64 bit 8 gigs ram Sniper g.Skill AMD Phenom II 965 4 core 3.4ghz Corsair TX 650 GA-78LMT-S2 Incase PS is issue: 2 200mm colorshift fans, and 2 120 mm., one is blue LED. Everything is fully updated. Nothing has ever heated past 61 C. No virsuses, crashes happened IMEDIATELY after I got my card back after an RMA. Last card crash insanely like 40x more frequently even after a full restore/new OS. Back up card this whole time: Radeon HD 6570. It's NEVER crashed, never had ANY issues what so ever in any way. Honestly, should I just get AMD? Is this really the Nvidia expierence? Or is it something else? I'm honestly getting extremely frustrated at this, I've contacted Nvidia before my last RMA and they said it's most likely a defective card. IS IT POSSIBLE I GOT 3 DEFECTIVE CARDS IN A COMPLETE ROW?

Hi everybody, So, I just flashed my GPU bios using Nvflash (I am just reciting verbatim here really, I am not too familar with all of this) which effectively increased my stock voltage on my NVidia GTX 660 (non Ti) from 1.175mv to 1.212mv. So now when running games I get, "display driver nvidia windows kernel mode driver stopped responding successfully..." The game will freeze up and then eventually close out with this message from the bottom right action center (of Windows 8.1). I am not sure if I have messed up my GPU or if it really has become some sort of driver issue? I reset the bios so now it is back at 1.175 mv, but still getting the same issue. Other forums seem to be puzzled by this as it is a reocurring thing for some people and it doesn't really seem like there has been much of a solution found. I really appreciate the help!
