Has Face ID improved from the first iPhone to have it to the latest like the 13? Not regarding on the software side, more on the hardware side of face id. Would face id on an iPhone 13 be better then lets say, the XR?

Hi all, So I am looking to upgrade my 4 year old PC, it by no means a weak PC and is used primarily for gaming and rendering. My PSU surged and damaged my CPU so I am having to replace the CPU regardless. The PSU was replaced by the company so there is no need to buy a new one of them. Having looked over the parts I have noticed that they are somewhat outdated so I would like some advice on what would be best to upgrade. I am looking at getting the i7 7700k and for that I will need a new MOBO (I don't trust this one anymore after the surge anyway). https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/4vmDd6 Above is a list of the parts I currently have and the CPU I want, I am looking at £650-£700 max for upgrades. Much appreciated in advance.

The title pretty much says it all. How do I improve my trigger finger? I have an ok trigger finger already(Benefit of starting with FPS) but its not the fastest. Is there any way, other than just practice, to make it faster? This probably is a stupid question but whatever haha.

Hello, I`m new on this forum, will try to help out where I can with what info I have or I can try. Just moved to US, CA, from Europe originally. I love computer parts, adjusting them, improving etc and experiment, as well as make the perfect sweetspot builds. For now, i left most things behind except my laptops, one a gaming 1060 old one & another a Mac (huh?). But as soon as papers are done I`ll start getting back into desktop play though, meanwhile helping members troubleshoot if I can. i`m more into silent PCs lately, as slick as possible without RGB, inconspicuous is my target. I do however appreciate a good RGB build. Thanks for your time.

I have a PC that I built several years ago. Asus Formula 3 mobo, gtx 570, 8Gb memory, and a first gen i7. It surprisingly plays Destiny 2 on low settings at around 50fps. Now I’d like to play the game on medium or high settings. My gtx 570 card is $30 on eBay. Is it worth spending any money on it? I’d have to buy old parts to upgrade it. It’s about 10 years old. What minimal upgrades would you make with the greatest improvements? Let’s say $70 budget.

Hey there! Just a bit of storytelling before I outline my issue just so it might be more clear. Storytime: I bought a Dell Inspiron 3650 Intel Core i7 desktop for my birthday last year. My birthday that year happened to fall on Black Friday, so I was rushing in between then and Cyber Monday to find a good deal for a pc that I desperately needed. I'm a teenager with too much free time, so I quite enjoy gaming. Therefore, I wanted to buy something that could be good to do my homework on and game. However, this all came with a catch. My parents, who helped fund me in buying the pc, wanted two things. It had to be pre-built, because my dad had once tried building a pc and it failed miserably. And also, they wanted it to be from what they considered a "reputable" company so that if any issues arose, customer support wouldn't be too much of a hassle. So that meant no iBuyPower or another gaming computer company like that, but Dell or Hp or another company like them. So, with little time remaining, I decided to buy this pc: http://www.dell.com/en-us/work/shop/cty/pdp/spd/inspiron-3650-desktop/cai3650w7pb223 Now, a year has passed since then, and I'm kind of regretting not pushing harder against not building my own, or at least getting one from something besides Dell. (Especially since I've really gotten into Linus' channel, and my friends are now all buying and building monster pc's a year after mine). So naturally, I'm trying to find out ways to minimize problems and improve performance without buying a new pc. Problems: For the past year, I've had some really frustrating performance issues and I don't quite know how to fix them. Firstly, my computer takes forever to launch, like a good 5-10 minutes for Discord and Steam to launch on startup. (Just to clarify, this isn't due to a virus protections system, because I have none other than Windows Defender). Besides that, I've found that lower-level games like Paladins, Rocket League, and CS:GO work pretty well, with me getting anywhere between a constant 60-100 fps on higher settings (still quite not maximum on some games). However, for some games, it's not quite so good. ARK, for example, I get a pretty constant 40 fps on medium-low settings, and Star Wars Battlefront II can get about 50-60 but rather inconsistently. What I'm Looking For: What I'm really looking for is certainly faster startup for my computer itself and the programs and games in it. What I've heard about and been researching is a new graphics card (because I know mine isn't that good), and also an SSD on top of my HDD to put my OS on. However, I'm not sure if these will be viable options, and if it's really those things which are choking my system in the ways listed above. I'm not too tech savvy besides the immediate parts and what they do. I don't know if an upgrade for my graphics card will even help my system that much, and besides that I don't even honestly know if a new graphics card will be compatible with my motherboard and even fit inside my pc. Screen: Oh ya, one thing that I forgot to mention is that my current resolution for my screen itself is 1920x1080. Also, here's the link to my screen: ( http://bit.ly/2AhCmXG ). Honestly, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with anything, but it's just something I figured I might as well add. Question: Okay now that I think I've gotten everything out of the way, I'll try and basically just ask my question without sounding too cheesy or inexperienced. What parts can you guys see that could be bottlenecking my system, and how could I prevent those problems? I'm open to replacing a few parts or even my monitor to improve overall performance, however I just bought a new phone and I don't have all that much cash to work with, so please nothing to break the bank. Thank you all for your answers and I really do appreciate any help or opinions! Besides of course, the people who just tell me I'm an idiot for buying a main brand pre-built pc, because I already know that.

So my modded version of the game (only around 40 mods), runs quite well on my 780ti at 1440p. the gou stays around 900mhz at 50% usage, so the fps is always pegged at 60, except for certain places like cities where the cpu core gets maxed and the fps tanks to 20-30. I assumed I would have enough headroom for any enb, since only around 30% of the gpus max ability was being used. This was however not the case, as with the ENB's I have tried so far, none of them give what I would call playable fps (60 fps most of the time). I have tried "Realvision" (the performance option), "Project ENB", and "Natural Lighting and Atmospherics for ENB", and all of them have given me around 40fps, with some dips into the 30s. They all provide the look I'm going for, however I feel that their performance hit is quite significant, considering on the realvision page, a 970 is recommended for the full graphics option, yet I dont reach 60 fps with the performance version. Everything is fine with the gpu, in the sense that it is hitting the correct boost clock of 1270mhz, and the cpu is also running at 4.1ghz. My question is weather I'm doing something wrong, or ENB's are always this intense? Also what would I be able to do to improve the performance?

Hey, so i really need to upgrade my rig, I got a (dreaded) prebuilt a couple of years back with an (even more so dreaded) APU. I speand most of my time making fantasy builds and maximizing my knolage of computer hardware mainly, and am also taking computer science and ICT Extended diploma to do so however I am a giant fangirl of the linus tech group as they have helped me dramaticly. My love for PC's came after I found PC gaming which really helped me to cope with some of my problems, which drove me to get a job to save and one day get my dream rig, however my money can not be saved as it is speant on board and things that break around the house as my mum and dad strugle for money. So to get to my point I need to select the correct GPU to fit my amd a10-5800k APU, its 3.8GHz Quad core with two 2MB Cashe, so what graphics card could i get to get close to bottle necking, but to not bottle neck, to get the most out of my situation. I was going around the line of the Asus GTX 660 but wasent sure where that would land on the scale. So if you can help would be greatly apreasiated. Thanks

Hello! First off... Happy Christmas, Happy new year and everything that goes with it. I would like to provide builds that are planned by me and my 20 year old brother. We both like games and it's a nice time to upgrade from a 9600GT. Okaaay. Build number one (my build): This build is actually a really cheap pre-built one that I will clean from dust and replace some parts in it: CPU: AMD FX 6300 @stock (Maybe throw in a future upgrade to an FX 8320e) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 (If anyone could provide a good review on this one it would be greatly appreciated, will upgrade later if I go for crossfire) PSU: Corsair VS650 - It's a bad European version of a bad enough power supply that has bad chinese capacitors, will sell it and get a XFX Core 550W Power Supply Graphics card: GTX 760 (Will upgrade it to a r9 280X right away) RAM: 8gb kingston hyperX HDD: 1TB barracuda from seagate (maybe will add another 500Gigs and shortstroke both in Raid 0, speed will be amazing ;D ) Case: Caugar BlackCase (Random rubbish, just to house the computer, but has enough airflow) Not exactly the best build to start with, but with a few upgrades here and there (PSU, and case) It WILL BE a solid build. If you have any suggestions just spit 'em out I live in Croatia, so prices aren't cheapest here. But my target was 495 dollars here or 3200 Kuna. R9 280x and new PSU will almost be a free upgrade since R9 280X almost costs same as GTX 760 in here, and I can get a much better PSU for the price of this one like already mentioned XFX Core 550. NEXT BUILD: Build number two. (The build for my bro) He prefers it to be Ass Kicking, buuut, it isn't the most balanced rig out there. CPU: I5 4590, my brothers says that overclocking the CPU in gaming isn't really worth it and I agree with him Motherboard: NOW THIS IS BAD. ASUS MAXIMUS VII Ranger. Ths is a z97 motherboard yet he will not be overclocking. When i asked him why he opted for this he said that it "BOOSTS EVERYTHING". He probably meant on those LAN and AMP Audio features. (I think that the H97 version called Asus H97 Pro gamer is much better since it has same features mostly, and costs much less) PSU: This is also very bad. He said he is going to take something random, he thinks that a cheapest 700w PSU from zalman should be good. I think that a XFX CORE 550 is much better since it is built TO LAST! He just randomly looks at the wattage not realizing that the bullshit he's going to take can't even convert that much electricity to power his build, he wont listen. Graphics card: Gigabyte GTX 970 OC RAM: 8gb of whatever major brand HDD: 1TB Barracuda Case: ZALMAN Z11 Neo, a bad-ass looking case (at least that's what we think) As i said, open to suggestions <3

I tried to make my first build and this is what i came up with. CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor ($96.88 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($70.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: Crucial 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($82.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.88 @ OutletPC) Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 280 3GB Video Card (190 € @ Alternate) Case: Corsair 230T Windowed-BLUE ATX Mid Tower Case ($74.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: Corsair CX 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($34.99 @ Newegg) Total: $673.71 Is this good? Is there something i can swap out? I'd like to stay in that price range but i may add an SSD for the OS. Should I swap out the R9 280 for a 280X. Thank you in advance.
