This laptop is 5 years old, it used to be my family's, but since it's barely functional they wanted to get rid of it and I wanted to see if I could resurrect it. When plugging in the laptop, the powerbrick didn't want to work (or just the LED indicator), however then the LED was working, however none of the laptops LEDs turn on when I plug the charger in, the laptop seems to be 0% on battery, at leas I assume it is, I did leave it plugged in for few hours with no change. The laptop also doesn't seem to have direct access to the battery, and would need me to at least unscrew the bottom to do so. The laptop in question is an Acer with a Pentium processor, the model on the back reads: Extensa 2508-P272 (I'll attach images of top and bottom side with charger plugged in)

So apparently Imgur is going to start removing(?)/banning uploads form anonymous users (also NSFW content but well, that isnt relevant for this forum after all). I remember klicking through dead forums from after the whole photobucket thing and would prefer if this didnt happen here. Is there any way that the website (forum) could deal with this? Maybe check posts for imgur links and then sort of create a cache for them? (maybe through the wayback machine?) So that if the image gets removed, the thread doesnt become useless? (I assume it would probably mostly affect help posts?) Sorry I dont really know too much about how that would work and I hope I posted it in the right place!

Man, it really feels like I'm getting my toes into the editing side of things even though I don't actually do it on a daily basis. Anyway, I'm needing to compress a few images so that I can upload them to the Vivaldi forum for a post I'm working on. (When I tried uploading 1 of the images I compressed earlier, it just said "Error" when I did so; it didn't even say WHY it couldn't be uploaded! The only problem is I don't know the best way/method of compressing an image. I know there are some sites out there that exist, but honestly speaking, I have no idea about just how good they are if that. And I do know you can easily do so in certain applications as well. But the point is, I don't want my images to be reduced in terms of the resolution; just how big they are in size. (Eg, KB, MB, etc.) It will be done on Windows since I don't really use any other os. I sure hope someone here can educate me on how to do this properly so that I have the proper knowledge for the future. Hi Like many people during this unusual time I've recently bought a webcam to keep in touch with people, both for work and maybe a virtual pint. I opted for a logitech brio stream 4k. This is something i would have never have bought in normal times, but fancied buying a needless gadget in uncertain times. I've installed logitech capture and have used skype and zoom (not sure about long term security of latter) and every source seems noisy and often soft. I've turned on every light in the house or made sure that i have as much natural light as possible but every image looks like a low grade phone. I've fiddled with every setting in capture and nothing seems to make that much of a difference. Now, I'm a hifi guy, spent way too much over the years on speakers, amps, fancy dancey cables etc, I know in the grand scheme of things £200 is nothing in the world of cameras: you'd probably pay that for a screw in some fancy gimble, but i'd expect as least as good an image as that from my iphone. Please will some of you lovely people give me some advice to get the best out of this piece of...?

I am looking to enlarge some images, both video and static, for additional processing. I am looking for a dumb option: I want one red pixel to turn into a set of 4 red pixels, and the blue pixel beside it to become 4 blue pixels. no colour blending, estimating, nothing just each pixel doubled in length and width. a big blocky picture that I can post-process. I have no idea what word I am looking for.

Hi, I host a website at 000webhost. I recently updated my website with some new pages. One of the pages contains about 5 images. Only 2 of them are loading. If I open the file locally it wil load the images, on the webhost it won't. i want to display some images in a datagrid view in my client application. the images are located in another computer which acts as the server. the server has the MS SQL server database which stores the image paths that are located in a folder of the server. i want to know if its possible to view these images the way i want but without sending the image file to the client computer. thanks Edit: i want to do this in a C# winforms application

so im trying to extract a image from a video at a specific time using FFMPEG and i have got this no such file or directory error. this is the first time im using ffmpeg and i have already check other sites where people had the same problem but none of the solutions worked. i have tried running the command by opening cmd from the directory itself and giving the videos name. i have also tried different video formats such as avi and mp4. i have also tried moving the video files to different directories, other disk drives and i have also tried running it by coping the video file to the ffmpeg directory and running cmd from there.it still didnt work. i have also tried running a different command which converts video files to mp3, in that also i get same error. i have attached a couple of screenshots and im out of ideas. i would be greatly appreciate if someone could point out any mistake i have done. thanks.

Im trying to stream a image from one computer to another and i have found this code on stack overflow and i cant figure out what "myImage" in this code refers to. Is it a path to the image that im going to stream? I have tried making a variable called myImage as a string but i got ToStream highlighted in red saying "string doesnt contain a definition Tostream". so i guess it isnt the path.if someone could help me figure out what it means it would be very helpful. Hi Everyone, I haven't done any programming for a while (like upwards of a year to a year and a half or so), and decided to try and make a program to convert a collection of images to a PDF. The program should work - and I believe it will work, however - I seem to be having an issue when it comes to saving the file. With my code, I can get the program to run and execute fine, but when I go to save the document with a SaveFileDialog, the document doesn't save. I could be missing something extremely simple, but cannot seem to be able to figure it out. As such, I was hoping people on the forum might be able to help me out. My program's concept was based around this video, but modified by me so I can see the images loaded in a ListBox and preview the image when clicked in a PictureBox (That bit works fine), using code from the link below the video. It's just the document saving/output I seem to be having. Unlike the example, I do not want to hard code a save path or file name, but use a SaveFileDialog. Just as a note, to do the PDF Conversion, I am using the PdfSharp library (like the one used in the video in the spoiler). Here is my code: Thanks for your time and input. So I've been having this issue on my phone for a while where I would swipe to the right from my home screen to go to stories as shown in the first image below. But when I click on a story none of the images show up like in the second image. I have to export it to a different browser like Mercury in order to get it to load as shown in the third image. Does anyone know how to change the settings so images show up when I click on stories without having to export it?

Hey, I've been trying to solve this problem for week online, trying to find people with similar issue but nothing I've found has helped. This PC was working fine but a few weeks ago when I turned it on to watch videos, I started to see random lines and pixels. The lines and pixels will stay in the same place if I pause the video but if I watch it, the lines and pixels will be different per frame of the video. I have narrow downed the problem to be either a CPU or motherboard problem, as I have removed the GPU, tried using different ram and also used a different startup disk, yet this problem is still there. The problem is not just on chrome, but also on the playback settings on windows. When I watch certain videos or stream, it will work fine. It also works fine for games as I have tested it on games like Lol, Valorant and overwatch with no issue, I've attached images of this: Image 1 is where the video plays but the image has the pixels and lines. Image 2 is where I click on a video and it does not play at all. Image 3 is where I checked that it is a windows issue as this is from the video playback settings yet it is still there. Image 4 shows a video that works fine but you can see the issue on the channel picture. Image 5 shows the issue on amazon, where the image looks fine until I hover over it. Image 6 is the same image as the one in image 5 but I downloaded it and it seems to show it fine. Image 7 is a stream on twitch where a streamer is watching a youtube video and everything looks fine. Image 8 is where I watch the same video as Image 7 yet I get the problem. Image 9 is where there is no issue playing Lol on integrated graphics I have reinstalled many times video drivers and disable hardware acceleration on chrome and thing has helped. I have also updated the motherboard system and chipset drivers. The CPU is an i5-4690k and the motherboard is msi z87i. If anyone has any idea or advice on what to do, please help. Thanks.
