I got a problem with my pc, that looks something like this: recently i built a new pc and when Im playing cs:go my graphics card is at 100% usage and cpu on around 20-25%. I got rtx3060 and intel core i5-12400f, all power supplies are plugged in correctly, no problem with ram usage and speed, priority is set to high, the problem have place even on fcking LOW SETTINGS (lowering settings help just a bit, but still no expected performance). Whenever i look in a place at which many things are going on, for example smokes, fire granades etc, my fps drop from 250-300 to stupid-looking 80-100. same thing on deathmatch on dust 2, whenever i go mid my fps drops to 100. tried many launch commands, accolerating more ram, prioritising cs go in proccess lasso NOTHING. Also important to note that i had a radeon rx6700xt before and had same problem, but at that time i thought it was a graphics card issue (it was not brand new) so for the same amount of money i bought a new rtx 3060. NO issues with temperatures. HELP IM GETTING SICK OF THAT SHI t full specs: motherboard: ASUS PRIME B660M-A DDR4 ram: Kingston FURY 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz CL16 Beast Black processor: Intel Core i5-12400F power supply: Gigabyte P650B 650W 80 Plus Bronze graphics card: ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 DUAL OC V2 LHR 12GB GDDR6 if someone solves it i swearr it would be the happiest moment of my life HELPPP

Recently completed my new high-end build and putting it through its paces on a few games. Seeing some unexpected behaviour in CS:GO, while other more demanding titles run perfectly (Forza Horizon 4 for instance). When not limited, frame rate in CS:GO levels off around 400-450 FPS, which is roughly what I would expect with my hardware. However, occasionally seeing huge frame rate dips to 40-50 FPS, for 1/2 second or so. Happens about once every couple of minutes, but very unpredictable. Often happens when encountering other players but the correlation is not quite definitive enough to say that’s the cause... I’ve tried all combinations of running with adaptive sync on/off, running at low settings, limiting FPS, and keeping an eye on system resources while playing. Sometimes the issue is much less frequent, but hard to tell if that’s actually related to anything I’m doing. Not seeing any weird resources behaviour... GPU doesn’t seem overly taxed and the CPU runs under load at 45-50degC (CPU package is more like 50-60). Build Specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x CPU cooler: Corsair H80i V2 VGA: Gigabyte RX 6900XT - connected via PCIE 3.0 riser cable MOBO: Asus ROG STRIX B550-i gaming RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4 3600Hz SSD: WD SN850 2TB M.2 PSU: Cooler Master V850 SFX CASE: Phanteks Evolv Shift 2 Air Monitor 1 (primary gaming): ASUS VG27AQ 1440p 165 Hz Monitor 2 (productivity, no gaming): Dell U2520D 1440p 60Hz Internet: 850 Mb/s down/950 Mb/s up, speed tests show ping of 1ms Wondering if anyone can provide insight, or has had similar experiences? Is this normal behaviour in CS:GO? Possible server-side lag? Hoping it’s not a hardware issue, because I really can’t tell what it would be. I don’t see any obvious bottlenecks, and the PC can handle much heavier games with ease.

I feel like this might not be the best place to ask for help for a game, but a guy linked me here. Ok so, my gpu usage drops to about 30-60% randomly and makes my game lag terribly for a second, i usually get 140 fps on most maps with my poor gt650m, it drops to like 40 fps and i have no idea whats causing it. Doesn't matter what my settings are or my resolution, lowering my resolution obviously helps when gpu usage drops but who plays on 4:3 amirite? Anyway the cpu is a i5-3210m and usually sits on 50-80% on most maps while my gpu is always above 90 thanks in advance

Hey I actually don't know anything about how to create or manage a server... I wasn't sure who do I ask about this. So I thought it would be a good idea to ask you guys..... Can anyone give me somekind of step by step tutorial or guide type thing to create a communtiy server on CS:GO? There aren't that many servers in my country... there are like 2-3 active servers and those are full of toxic people who would just ban you even if you like steal their knife chance or steal their kills! So me and my friends were thinking of creating a server of our own...

Hey all So i have a question so i was (im saying was because i undid the overclock, as i was scared as the GPU was getting 70C and higher) able to overclock my GT 630 (please dont judge me about my GPU im focusing on my school grades first) so i got it from 805 Mhz (Base clock) to 920 MHz and the VRAM to 1080 MHz, now thats AWESOME and all but here is my problem okay? so if i play, say for example, CS:GO right? it HEAVY UNDERCLOCKS TO 405 MHz on the core but the VRAM goes back to default 800 something MHz now my question: How do i keep it stable at 905 MHz on the core? if u need pics or whatever let me know Regards Colin

Whenever I play cs:go there are periods of time where my framerate stays fine (200-300fps) but the game feels like it's back at 60hz. CPU and GPU temps are fine, I've tried reinstalling drivers, changing every in-game setting and variable, changing my launch options, it's driving me insane

So basically I was trying to play CS:GO. I play CS:GO on 1920x1200 on a 4k Monitor. But whenever I'm starting CS:GO, I'm getting tabbed out and I only see CS:GO in the taskbar but I'm not able to open it. Same thing with every other game. I'm able to play them on native resolution (2560x1440). But I don't wanna play on native res. Please help me I'm frustrated. Thanks

I recently switched my GTX 1060 for a RTX 3060 and upgraded to 32GB TridenZ 3600. But now all of my Games (CS:GO, GTA V etc.) are crashing randomly to the desktop. I used DDU to delete all of my old drivers and installed the driver for my 3060 but the games are still crashing. I hope that some of you guys have an idea to fix the problem. I decided to return back to CS:GO after 5 years of not playing, especially now that I have a great build that can handle CS very good - at least on paper. As you can see, I'm getting nowhere near as much fps as I should, same goes if I reduce the resolution to FHD. I've disabled freesync, vsync (both on AMD control panel and ingame), I've set fps_max to 0, updated my gpu drivers to the latest version and I'm using the high performance power plan. I've pretty much done anything I could think of and have found on the internet. I'd highly appreciate your help on this, thank you for your time! Hi, I recently upgraded from Windows 7 (yes yes, I know..) to Windows 10 Pro version. I selected the 90 day trial version so far and did not get a chance to purchase the activation key, but I am not sure if this is a factor in my issue. Additionally, I purchased a Samsung 860 QVO 1T SSD as an upgrade from my old HDD. I installed Win10 on the SSD, as well as a few programs to test my Graphics Card. I updated all of the drivers I could from Windows Update, and downloaded the specific drivers from the manufacturers' websites of my GPU, CPU, and monitor. Nonetheless, instead of the ~120 or~150 FPS that I get from running programs like CS:GO (on lowest settings), I have been getting anywhere from 30-60 FPS (same settings)... I have looked through all of the extra Windows 10 features and disabled anything that I figured might be using up resources such as Xbox Capture, and things like that. Here are my Specs: CPU: AMD A8-6600K APU GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti Monitor: ASUS VG27WQ (1440p 144Hz) Motherboard: Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2 Rev 3.0 SSD: Samsung 860 QVO 1T HDD: Seagate Barracude 1T Ram: 8 GB Kingston (DDR3 I think) PSU: Logisys PS480D with Total Average Output listed as 330 Watts. Bios Version/Date listed as: "American Megatrends Inc. F1, 1/9/2014" Windows 7 version was 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601 x64 Bit Windows 10 version is 2004. I booted from the Hard drive containing Windows 7, tested CS:GO, and had the same 120-150 FPS, so the issue seems to be with Windows 10? Please let me know if there is any other information that could be helpful in solving this issue I am having. Thank you!

Hello forum i would be very grateful if you could provide me with experience and knowledge, and this is the case: My current build is quite old: i3-3220, 8gb ram, r9 270, 120gb ssd. I would like to know if upgrading the CPU to a i7-3770 will make the pc compatible with a 144hz gameplay as i will use it only for CS:GO. And also i guess i should upgrade the GPU as well, but have no idea to which gpu to upgrade. Thanks in advance, for your responses! :)

I have been having a problem where my server won't load community collections properly. It will crash and say "You need a webAPI authkey." I put one in already. I'm going to attach a version of the starter file (without personal details), so people can see whether it's something i'm doing, or just the collection. I have correctly port forwarded though. Thanks for reading. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2079532485 cs - Copy.bat

I am currently Silver Elite Master and i am looking for silver 3 and up. Only requirements is having a KDR of 1.0 or more and a mic and the ability to use it.

[ To give some background info, I am trying to build a PC that will get me the best possible fps in the game CS:GO for the money - 1000 EUR. After lots of searching and discussing, I came up with several possible builds favoring aspects like aesthetics, graphics performance and processor performance respectively. Here's my processor performance take on the build: ] Hey you computer-savvy people, What do you think about this new build I've conjured up (saves on graphics card, storage & RAM for better processor): PCPartPicker part list: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/csHQnn Price breakdown by merchant: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/csHQnn/by_merchant/ CPU: Intel - Core i7-7700 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor (€319.84 @ Mindfactory) CPU Cooler: CRYORIG - H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler (€39.17 @ Amazon Deutschland) Motherboard: ASRock - B250 Pro4 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard (€93.54 @ Mindfactory) Memory: Crucial - Ballistix Elite 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory (€117.89 @ Amazon Deutschland) Storage: Crucial - MX300 525GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (€149.00 @ Amazon Deutschland) Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 3GB SC GAMING Video Card (€221.93 @ Mindfactory) Case: NZXT - S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case (€88.54 @ Mindfactory) Power Supply: SeaSonic - 520W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (€69.89 @ Amazon Deutschland) Operating System: Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit (€102.89 @ Mindfactory) Software: Microsoft - Office Home and Student 2016 Software Monitor: AOC - G2460PF 24.0" 1920x1080 144Hz Monitor (€262.90 @ Mindfactory) Keyboard: Corsair - STRAFE RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard (€192.90 @ Amazon Deutschland) Headphones: Kingston - HyperX Cloud II 7.1 Channel Headset (€78.90 @ Amazon Deutschland) Total: €1737.39 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2017-05-08 21:35 CEST+0200 Some possible follow up questions: 1. Is the locked i7 7700 a good enough performance increase over the unlocked i5 6600k to warrant the fairly steep price increase? 2. Will the graphics card's small form factor and single cooling fan cause it to overheat or reach a high noise level when it comes to intensive gaming or workloads? If so, is it high enough to be a deal-breaker or is this still a suitable GTX 1060 for the money? 3. Any downsides to going with single-SSD storage? 4. Any other follow up comments or suggestions? Thanks again for all your help and advice, Jacob

sauce: https://pvplive.net/c/csgos-next-operation-and-source-2-engine-release-date One of their slides said this: Which translates to: So yeah. After DOTA 2 got Source 2 now CS:GO will get it as well. That just leaves TF2 on Source 1 for the three multiplayer games Valve currently maintains. Unlikely that'll ever see an engine upgrade though.

Hello. I want to ask you the community a question. Do i need 5 ghz an i7 7700k to stream CS:GO at 1080p at 60fps. Or i'll be fine with 7700 w/o overclocking. Because in games 7700k on 5ghz vs 7700 performs pretty much the same. If 7700k wins in some games it's only by 3-4%. So if there's much improvement in streaming with 7700k i'll be totally looking for it. Note: i'm not gonna run 2 PC's with capture card to stream.

Hello, First of all I am sorry if I wrote in a wrong place, but since I don't know the cause it seemed appropriate. I used to have windows 10 and the last update caused my CPU and RAM usage to sky rocket so I installed a fresh copy of Windows 7. Everything works perfect, except games... games won't start and I tried two CS:GO and freestyle football. CPU: i3 6100 MOBO: Gigabyte H110M DS2 Rev 1.0 GPU: AMD R7 250 1G D5 RAM: 8GB Kingston DDR4 (single stick if it matters) As you can see from the pictures CS:GO will be in the process and it will say running on steam, but all I can see when i start it is something similar to minimizing windows, but instead of it going to taskbar it disappears. I tried as many "fixes" as I could find, but nothing helped. I updated windows, deleted GPU drivers using DDU and doing fresh install, deleting cs and steam and installing again. Dxdiag doesn't find any issues and when I tried directx web installer it said that everything is ok and that I already have latest dx version. Does anyone have a clue how to fix this. Btw every other software works flawlessly, I only have issues with games. Thanks in advance.

To all Counter Strike : Global Offensive players: 1. Do you play it with a self-built PC or a pre-built PC (with standard parts)? 2. If so, what are the parts of that PC (mainly CPU + GPU) and how much fps do you get with it (include video settings & map) 3. If possible, include approximate cost of your PC too [Reason: I am building a gaming PC ~1000 EUR to be used 90% for CS:GO gameplay] Thanks in advance for your help, Jacob

Getting 80 FPS drop in CS:GO on intel i7 4771, GTX 950 2GB, 16 GB RAM why?
