Hey folks, I'm looking for options for case fans for my Corsair Vengeance C70, what case fans do you recommend?. Thanks in advance.

So I saw LTT has the Corsair C70 in White from their latest CPU video. (0:06) Is LTT willing to sell me that case or anyone here in the forums have one they are willing to sell? They discontinued the case and it's nearly impossible to find. Cheers in advance. Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this, I literately signed up just now to ask this.

I'm just wondering if the EVGA CLC 280mm will fit in a Corsair C70 Vengeance case? PCpartpicker says they're incompatible but it doesn't say why. Does anyone know?

So I wanted to verify a few things about case airflow and ask a few questions specific to my own situation as well. I will be upgrading my build shortly and want to have optimal air flow inside my case. When I first built it, I thought I understood all of the concepts originating around SP vs AF fans, push vs pull etc at that time. Now as time has passed I'm a little rusty. Now I just want to make sure I understand everything and present a few options to you guys on case cooling to see which one I should use. Please keep in mind that I will buy new fans (and better fans) should anyone think I need them. Static Pressure Fans: Used when there is some type of resistance such as a HD cage or a Rad. Airflow Fans: Used to push the most amount of air possible through. The "best" rad setup that is not push/pull would be push, with SP fans pushing from the bottom up on a top mounted rad like I have currently. ??? Currently I have: 1 280mm Rad at the top of my case 2 Corsair - Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition 62.7 CFM 120mm Fans at the front 1 Corsair - Air Series AF120 Performance Edition 63.5 CFM 120mm Fan 2 Noctua - NF-A14 ULN 140mm Fans under the radiator https://imgur.com/a/yxfiY4V [The scribble is to point out I do not have a top HDD cage installed at the moment] Now for the best optimal setup should I go with: Option A https://imgur.com/a/63YtO1C Option B https://imgur.com/a/trlCFd5 Option C: https://imgur.com/a/oYSwLSw F = SP Option D: https://imgur.com/a/hEylP1b F = SP Option E https://imgur.com/a/b3LXJnc Blank Image for you to edit I believe the rad fan setup is fine but please let me know if I should change. Thanks in advance guys.

So I recently bought a new case for my PC in order to use my old case for a server build im doing soon. Took some sweet pictures of the process. Mobile users beware, all photos are high resolution and very large, it will use a good amount of data. I am very pleased with the C70 in looks and the ease of building. It has nice cable management, and looks good. Good support for radiators, fans, storage. My PC in this case is also 10-12 lbs lighter than in the HAF 932 advanced it was in before, and the handles on top are extremely useful. The side panels latches are also very good, easy and pleasing to use. Finished: PC in old case : (some really good pictures of GPU/CPU here) Old cable management: Pics of the rebuild in progress:

So I shipped my computer over from Norway to Canada, where my uni is, a few months back, and the case got banged up pretty bad. I bent it back the best I could, and did a bit of touch up, however the inside of the window is pretty scratched up when the rad came off the fan mounts and hit the window. I thought this might be as good time as any to replace the window of the case with one that does not have any fan grills. What would be the best/ cheapest place to get a replacement window, as I no longer have access to a laser cutter to embark on the process myself.

As the title explains I want to Mod a C70 to add some red accents for my build, anyone know of how i could pull of the plastic outlines on window and front panel to color them and what to color them with, Spray paint maybe?

Hey guys, I have arrived at an airflow setup I think will work out best for this case. 1. I have removed the bottom 2 lots of HDD bays and have located my storage HDD in the optical bay via an adapter. 2. My PSU is mounted to suck air from below and exhaust out the back so very little heat should be in the case from this. The airflow is pretty much designed to cool my GPU, PCIe SSD, and sound card. 3. I will be using H100i GTX to cool the CPU. Here is a below diagram, can I get a yay or nay, and what fans would you go for? SP for the front and bottom? AF for the regular back top exhaust? Etc.

I'm getting a corsair C70 case and I wanna get a Corsair H110 for the CPU and wanna use Noctua fans for everything but as that's a 140mm fan radiator and there's not much info on Noctuas 140mm fans I was wondering what's the best for a pull config on that cooler? Also if I get Noctua NF-S12A FLX case fans would a two front intake, two side intake, one rear outtake and dual 140mm top outtake through the rad be a good slightly positive pressure set up? I would have the PSU intaking from outside. Any help would be amazing as I've been without a working rig for weeks now

So I'm halfway through building a new gaming rig in a Corsair C70 case with a Kraken x61 AIO water cooler and because I couldn't find the Kraken on part picker I didn't realize they were in compatible... The problem is that while the C70 does have the mounts and space for a dual 140mm rad, it has a really annoying support bracket at the back of where the top disk drive would sit and it gets in the way of the water tubes coming down from the rad. The cooler also doesn't have long enough screws for a pull outtake set up. Do you guys think it be okay as it's just a small bracket support to just ghetto that shit and drill out the rivet to make space for the tubing and buy some longer screws that will reach through for enough or is that to risky?

I saw a few builds online of people having a key ignition. (Like a car) Any ideas? This is a bit crazy. I have the Corsair Vengeance C70 so there is rume for dem mods.

Are they compatible? And if not, what would be another all in one that can change the led color on the block?

So I was getting really annoyed with the front panel on my Corsair C70. Every time I had to clean the filter on the front panel I would have to remove both side panels as well >.< So I decided to use magnets! I mean honestly what problem can't they solve? Magnets Really simple mod, just bend the tabs in The front panel is steel as well as the rest of the case, so just stick on the magnets (I actually glued mine as well with a bit of super glue) The thinner the magnets are the better, my reset button ended up not working so I glued a tiny little washer thing onto it and it works fine now And you're done! Really simple

I want a case that matches my blue theme (black is ok). I also want it under CAN$140 maximum. I would still prefer a case that is less than $120. I would also like alternatives. I really liked the NZXT Phantom 410, but I wanted my 5.25" Drive Bays easily accessible (you have to open a panel to see the Drive Bays). The C70 is a bit out of my price range, but I included it. Corsair Vengeance C70: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139013 Bitfenix Ronin: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811345037 Antec Nine Hundred: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021 My build is basically a GTX 960 with either a ASRock, Asus or MSI motherboard. I also have blue Corsair Vengeance 2x4 GB DDR3 1600 memory.

Hi all, So I watched Linus' Corsair Air 540 video and I am strongly considering this case, I was initially dead set on the C70 but the only thing about it is that it's a bit too tall, as in there's this bar underneath my desk so it's extremely restricting for regular cases (I currently have a micro-ATX case so it's a bit smaller) so I'd have to put the C70 on the floor leaving this big weird gap between my desk and drawers and everything would be out of place and awkward and the OCD would kick in, so that's where the 540 comes in. It's low enough for my desk and I don't care how wide it is, in fact that's a plus in my book (much more space for cable management) So I'm wondering what one should I go for, is there any major benefits in the C70 that would make it win hands down or should I just go with the 540? (Because it does have a lot benefits, better cooling etc. and it also comes with Corsair AF fans) So which one would you guys go for and why? Thanks in Advance, Paul

Hi All, This is my first time posting a topic in the linustechtips forum. :) CM Storm Stryker or Corsair C70 or others? I'm currently looking for an easily transportable case that can support two(2) 2x120mm radiators easily (mild modifications are okay). Handles are a big plus. :D What would you guys choose and why? Any inputs are highly appreciated and will greatly help me in making my decision. :) Hope you can help me.. Thanks and more power!

Hey guys, I'm planning to watercool my build by the end of this year. I plan to watercool the CPU and GPU. I needed a case that wasn't huge but would let me keep drive cages but still have at least 4x120mm of radiator goodness. I decided on a Corsair C70. I was wondering if you guys could help me with picking other components that I haven' done yet and just help the process along :P I'm currently trying to decide between the placements of the front radiator. Either way, I'll end up getting the thickest one that I can fit without GPU interference. The thick rad on the bottom as in the bottom picture will get better airflow but give me less space for drives (I think I can limit myself to three drive spaces (i can put my SSD elsewhere). Having a rad on the hard drive cages like in the top picture would give me more space for hard drives, which I'd like but I'd have questions about airflow. Which do you think would do better for me? Would I need to do push pull on an 80mm thick rad or would two fans be enough (either way there will also be a rad in the roof. Next, I plan to use a load of black bitspower compression fittings in black for the whole thing. I'd like opaque red (dark red) tubing but I don't know where to start looking at brands and diameters and stuff. I've decided on a waterblock for the CPU: http://www.xs-pc.com/products/waterblocks/cpu-waterblocks/raystorm-cpu-waterblock-intel/ (gonna put some red LEDs in it) I've decided that I'll get radiators from Alphacool and noiseblocker fans. The res I've chosen is this: http://www.xs-pc.com/products/reservoirs/dual-5-25%E2%80%9D-bay-reservoir-alu-front/ and the pump is this: http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/Laing-DDC-1T-Pro-Pump-440-Lhr-10W-MCP350--DDC-1T-pid-2723.html It would be awesome if you guys had any tips for me and any reccomendations or anything Thanks bchampion96

Hi, so I'm thinking of buying a new case (the Corsair C70 specifically) and I just want to make sure my fan setup is correct, not really where they blow the air, I want to know if I'm thinking of putting the static pressure and airflow fans in the right place. So below you'll see a very poor attempt of making a diagram of the C70 in paint. The fans I was thinking of using for static pressure were the Corsair SP120 high performance edition, but I was thinking about the Noctua NF-P12 but I don't know if there is really that big of a performance boost for the extra money. Could you guys give me your thoughts on these two and which ones you think I should use. For the regular airflow fans again I'm stuck between Noctua and Corsair (Corsair AF120 Peformance Edition and the Noctua NF-S12A) I'll probably end up going with Corsair for the airflow due to the lower price and I assume that they aren't as important as the Static Pressure fans. Please tell me if I have got the whole thing wrong and I should just be using all static pressure and not airflow, I'm new to this whole build thing :) Thanks, Paul.

Hey guys i was wondering if there would be any solution to put some sort of box around the fans so it looks like a part of the case (Here is how the fans will look ) If you have any ideas plz tell me!

Hello After seeing joeonepack on hardwarecanucks start to do this, I went to home depot and picked up a sheet of acrylic and try it on my own. I originally just planned to replace the window that came stock on the case, but thought this would be cooler. It attached magnetically so it is easy to put on and off. I also had no experience doing anything like this and did it in a night so anybody could do this. I'll give you this picture now as a teaser until I get some more pictures. Just to make sure you know, the window is on in the picture. If you have any questions let me know. Here is a picture with the window off that shows the magnetic strips on the border The window is nowhere near as reflective in real life as is shown in the picture This last one makes the magnetic strips stand out more than they do but it accurately shows how clear the window is I hope you like it! I will write up a little guide soon My future plans are to ditch the magnets and use nuts and bolts to keep it in place. Stay tuned!

This will be the first time I've ever built a gaming pc. I have build a pc before with 2nd hand parts but I've never used any new parts before. The rigs primary use will be gaming but I also use AutoDesk program's and do some video editing on it too. Here's the specs: -i5 4670k -Gigabyte Z87-HD3 - 2x4gb of black corsair vengance Lp (1600Mhz, cas 9) -Thermalright true spirit 140 CPU cooler -1tb western digital blue HDD -corsair GS600 power supply -corsair C70 in Gunmetal black I'm yet to decide on which GPU to get but I have around £210 to spend on one. I'm probably going to wait until more is announced about AMD's next gen cards so for now I will have to stick with my little GT610, that is if its any better than the iGPU
