Hi, Currently I have full EKWB open loop system, I want to change few things and do some maintenance but I cant find EKWB products in my country, can I use parts from other companies like thermaltake, Corsair, bitspower... Eg. Ekwb fittings on corsair pump/res or water block. Primoflex tube on ekwb fittings and corsair block? I know that measurements should be the same g1/4 and 10/13 soft tube fittings... etc -
I have found 2 radiators both are roughly 30mm thickness, the Leviathan from Bitspower is 29.7mm thick and the xr5 is 30mm thick. I choose the leviathan since it has 2 ports on both faces and it will help with loop maintenance when it comes to draining. If I have one of both radiators will the one rad be cooling more or less? and would the height difference be visible, or should I just go with one company for the rads?

So a while back, I got a message asking me if I wanted to play with some new hardware. How could I resist? I mean, new hardware, short timeline, lots of other projects going on, the holidays...sounds like a challenge to me! Originally, my idea was for an open design with the mb and gpu on display with the rest of the hardware in a base, but it felt done. Lots of cases have pulled off that look and I gotta be different, so back to the drawing board...or rather the shower, cause that's where the idea hit me. Standing there with shampoo in my hair, and I'm running through the details of a case design. An aluminum shell with the tray suspended, and everything as compact as possible to keep the size to a mid tower or less. Vertical mount the GPU, check. SFX power supply, check. Does it work with the parts I've already told them I need.........this will be interesting. First up we needed a design to see if I could fit it all together. Next we're gonna need some hardware, obviously, so let's see what we've got to play with. The new hardware and what will become the foundation of the design, the MSI Z270 Krait Gaming motherboard. And what will be filling it's slots??? How about some HyperX Predator DDR4 RAM. 16GB of 3000Mhz. And a HyperX Predator 240GB M.2 drive. Power is going to be handled by a Silverstone 600w SFX PSU. And on the graphics front, we have the beefy MSI GTX980Ti Lightning. Water cooling parts are from Bitspower and consist of... A 360mm Leviathan Slim radiator. A Water Tank Z-Multi 200 V2 res. For the pump and top, MCP655 + D5 TOP V2 (POM Version) with the white mod kit. A Summit EF CPU block in clear acrylic. The matching clear acrylic block for the MSI Lightning. And a gaggle of fittings. For fan duties, I've snagged three Thermaltake Riing 12 fans in white cause I just like the look when they're lit. I am looking for a quad block terminal for EK blocks. Something like this, however EK only has an all black version, is there a non csq plexi bridge that can fix EK blocks? Or would this Bitspower block be compatible? Thanks!

Asus Maximus IX Extreme is finally on sale. Price is not cheap at $600+, it's the best you can get, for those that's planning to do some extreme water cooling setup. Project „SL5T“ "SL" as you already know from Mercedes Benz, is to make the first impression what this project stands for. Elegance, luxury and simple forms. The MasterCase Maker 5T is used. The interior is as discreetly as possible cleared of all unnecessary elements. The walls are clad with Plexiglas and multi-layered in the design of the mainboard. An elaborate water cooling system is installed which, however, is kept as minimal as possible. A cover is made for the cable area, which provides a window for the PSU and on which the ASROCK logo is placed in case size. The logo is framed with the design of the X99 Gaming I7 as well as I would like the elements of the mainboard to continue the whole case. (The red racing arrows between the lower two PCIe slots) All cables are sleevedin the hardware colors. From the outside the contours of the Maker 5T are emphasized by Plexiglas, where also sponsor logos will be found. So much for the formal part. The Maker5t will be my next Rig, since I have not yet a good portable Gaming PC. So I have now also evasive possibilities when my table times problems and above all I can finally also times my table new hardware miss. Actually, I wanted in this project not so much effort to operate but again will grow the mod again tremendous. Since I now the first time on a separate X99 board change, I dedicate this mod to the ASROCK X99 Gaming I7 And let the whole project be inspired by the mainboard. Hi everyone, I'd nearly finished my custom watercooling loop when my pump started acting up. It's a Laing DDC with the bitspower 250 upgrade kit, bitspower top, and EK heatsink. I'm using monsoon compression fittings. When I start the pump, the water level in the reservoir briefly drops, then becomes constant. The pump starts making a sharp crackling sound. When I stop the pump, the water level returns to what it was. The video attached shows this in more detail. Does anyone have any suggestions? pump.mp4

I was thinking about choosing 90 degrees fittings for my custom loop but now I am wondering that if choose these angled fittings, such as this and that, I needed compression fittings (These ones) at the end? Hello, Quick question: How could I remove the printed logos on thermaltake (and bitspower) fittings, like the 90 degree adapters? Is there a way to do so without harming the finish underneath? My initial thought was to use acetone, but Im unsure of its efficacy. Thank you for any assistance!

I am going to drill holes in caselabs cases for bitspower through fittings, what bit should I use for that and will be the right size? Is there a tutorial for this, as it would be my 1st time drilling holes into cases? Thank you. -
In this video there is mention of a Bitspower Large sized telescopic fitting. What is this? I can't seem to find any info on them. Is it just an extender, if so how long is the 'large' version? Thank you.

Disregarding RGB and fancy components, I aimed to build a PC that exemplified function over form. The monochromatic components will hopefully allow for some cool fluids in the future. My question for you is one of performance. I recently upgraded my X99 system from a 5820K to a 6900K and now I'm ready to install a custom loop in lieu of my Swiftech AIO. I have settled on a Watercool Heatkiller Pro water block and Hardware Labs Nemesis Black Ice GTS series rads (1 x 240mm & 1 x 360mm). What experience if any have you guys had with either of these? I also will be using Bitspower fittings and an EK D5 pump/res combo. I have also chosen the Thermal Grizzly paste over the Arctic Silver that I've used in the past. Are these reasonable choices? One last question, have you heard anything good or bad about the Gigabyte Waterforce WB 1080 Ti graphics card? Cost wise it seems more economical than buying an $800 card and pasting a $135 waterblock on it? Plus the waterblock has led lighting inside which I kinda dig. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. Thanks...

Hey guys, I'm a few months at most off of going ahead and starting my watercooled build, and I have hit a snag. Basically, I want to know if you can cut Bitspower PETG with a PVC cutter. More specifically, the type of PVC/Soft Tube Cutter Jay (from JayzTwoCents) uses in Paul's (from Paul's Hardware) Hotbox 2.0 Build Log (he states that it's husky, and this is the only thing that matches). I'm planning to get both the Husky one and the Klein Tools one, however I just wanted to check if it would also work with my Bitspower 12mm PETG. I realize it works with the PETG in the video, but that is EK PETG and I know that in some cases PETG is more prone to crushing for some brands. If anyone knows it would be much appreciated, since I will probably switch to Primochill PETG (Which I know works since Jay uses it in Skunkworks). Thanks in advance. Hi everyone! The MxdOut team will be constructing an office build, with different builds to fit the different requirements of each individual within the office. For example, our graphics designer would need a PC compatible with many different designing programs, would need a screen with the best resolution, would need a large drive with a large memory, a fast processor, etc. We would like to custom wrap each PC we builds to match the personality of whomever the build is for. The idea is that we will be able to show people how to make super cool looking PC’s, as well as showing them the components needed to create certain kinds of PC’s to match whatever criteria they need to meet. We want to show cable management inside and outside with the monitors and speakers all connected so that people can get a better understanding of how things will look when they’re finished. We want to show that custom computers can be easy and comfortable to make, and we want to allow others to see the right ways to set up their office, desk space, etc. on a bigger scale. For this build we will have a white case with pink insides for our webdesigner - hence the name, 'The Pink Chill'! <Links Removed>

I'm gonna build my first water cooling loop with the ek-kit rgb 360 and my plans are adding a gpu block later so i searched for it. I am building my first cooling system (in my first computer build) and have a question about choosing coolant and dye manufacturers. If you go to the different companies' web sites, they all tell you to use their own additives to ensure compatibility with their hardware. The reasons given talk about stripping color from fittings, congestion in water blocks, staining of tubing, etc. My system will have EKWB radiators, Bitspower fittings, Monsoon reservoirs, Bitspower CPU and GPU blocks, a Lowara D5 pump, and 14mm rigid tubing. As you can see, it is going to be difficult to dedicate myself to ONE company's additives. I want to make 'gold' color, so Bitspower dyes are out as they do not seem to offer yellow. I was thinking of going with EKWB as they have a good kit and the best ratings. Any thoughts?!?
