PC specs: - 5600xt sapphire pulse - Ryzen 5 3600 - MSI b450 mortar max - 16 Corsair vengeance 3600mhz - 2x Samsung m.2 nvme ssd - 800w psu Corsair Issues: Low GPU usage, FPS drops, frametime spikes and GPU clock speed drops in all games and amd adrenaline stress test. The GPU seems to be unable to consistently run over 30% usage, either low usage with a slightly higher clock or higher usage miserable clock speed (from 1700mhz-> 6mhz), CPU usage remains below 50% in all tasks and thermals for CPU and GPU seem fine <70 degrees. Attempted troubleshooting: - latest bios flashed - turned off all combination of ram OC and CPU OC - fresh windows install + newest drivers - disabled ulps Conclusion: I'm completely stumped, I don't remember it ever performing this bad a couple months ago but this build seems to have had low level performance issues since it's creation (random ctd and black screen). Most of these were fixed by turning off the ram xmp and running a lower freq overclock ≈ 3200mhz with ram timings provided by mobo 'try it' memory oc feature. It's left gaming on this pc to be a stuttery inconsistent mess. The only other thing that changed is that I upgraded from a 144hz monitor to a 240hz one but I don't see why that would change things. If anyone has any further troubleshooting advice that would be grand. Oh and I have never used a forum before hope the formats ok, cheers.

So, I'm having trouble deciding because I am driving 2 different resolution displays, 1080p and 4k. I use the 1080p display vertically and mostly for secondary tasks, and the 4k display as my main work and gaming display. I have a ASRock 5600 XT 6GB, and then separately I have 2x PowerColor Red Devil RX 570 4GB cards. So, I'm wondering if it's better to use the 2 cards, so each display is driven individually or the one card for both. Gaming on a 4k display adds to the workload of the GPU so I'm not sure if I should be using a whole card or part of one. Apart from playing games like Minecraft or Valheim, I do some work in Blender modeling or rendering scenes, and photo/video editing. I am hoping someone can give some numbers to justify the answer they give, and i understand that I could pair the 5600 XT with one of the 570s, but I also want to use less power, I have an 850W psu. Any suggestions help!

I left my PC on for a few hours on only to come back to a black screen. I've tried everything and I'm pretty sure it's a GPU problem. If you guys have any experience with this, I'd like to know if you have fixes or if the hardware is just dead.

I've recently been experiencing random crashes. After using the PC for a few minutes to an hour, there would be a short buzz (similar to the sound of a BSOD crash), then the monitor would lose its signal. After a bunch of troubleshooting, I've noticed that it's a similar scenario to when you pull the GPU out while the PC is still running. I swapped the GPU with an old GT 730, haven't experienced a crash since then. The 5600XT only has digital, so I had to use a VGA-HDMI adapter. Can that possibly crash a PC or is my GPU dying? I doubt it's a driver issue / Windows problem either since I haven't updated anything since I've built it a few months ago. Isn't a heat issue either since a crash can happen even just a few minutes after booting with normal temps. UPDATE: I bought a new DVI-HDMI connector, haven’t experienced any crashes since putting the 5600XT back in. Looks like the bad VGA-HDMI adapter was causing the crash. UPDATE 2: Crashed again. If it isn’t a driver/Windows thing then the GPU might be dead.

I have a 5600xt, R5 5600, and 16GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. Sonic Generations can’t seem to hit 60 and has unbearable stutter despite both GPU and CPU utilization never exceeding 17%. Tried: Changing the resolution. Turning all of the settings to low. Turning VSync on and off. Turning AMD Adrenalin Vsync on and off.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a new graphics card to go with my i3 12100 CPU, and I'm trying to decide between the GTX 1660 Ti and the RX 5600 XT. I'm mainly looking to play games at 1080p with high settings. I'd appreciate any advice on which card to choose. Have any of you had experience with either of these cards? Which one would you recommend, and why? And do you think either card would be a good fit for my i3 12100 CPU?

Hey friends, have a little issue with my second little build. My Gigabyte Radeon 5600XT Gaming OC 6G doesn't seem to want to run at PCIE 4.0. I know ultimately it probably won't make a difference, but at this point it's principle, damnit! Had issues associated with being rev 1.0, however I have flashed to F61 and this resolved all that, being black screen on cold boot, no resizeable bar, and running at 12Gbps. While these are resolved, both BIOS and gpu-Z show it as "PCIE 4.0 x16 running at PCIE 3.0 x16. No amount of BIOS fiddling (also flashed to latest release) etc fixes it. Any thoughts? - Specs below CPU - Ryzen 3 3300x Mobo - Gigabyte Aorus X570i Pro wifi RAM - Kingston Fury 2x8gb 3200mhz SSD - Kingston NV1 512gb GPU - Gigabyte RX 5600XT Gaming OC 6gb

hey everyone i was hoping to get some help about my stuttering problem that I had since I got my new pc. so basically my problem is that i sometimes have awkward frame time spikes which seem to cause the stuttering. Ive tried reinstalling windows many many times and that did nothing. drivers are all up to date and freesync is also turned on. i also get some brightness flickering but i dont think that has anything to do with that. help would be appreciated! specs: gpu: radeon rx 5600XT mech oc edition cpu: r5 3600 ram: corsair 16gb 3200mhz motherboard: msi b450 tomahwak max monitor: msi mag271cqr 144hz freesync range 48-144hz

I have a slight problem that occurred last 2 days. I recently installed 2 windows update (optional). Upon watching a YouTube video about 3 hours later, both monitors went black. I proceeded to think that a common error occurred and tried to restart. While restarting, my computer did come on but there was no picture out. I contacted Microsoft in hopes of help but sadly there was none. I then plugged my monitor into my motherboard using integrated graphics. There was a post. I tried reseating the graphics card, ram and tried different cables. I have noticed that my GPU fans doesn’t spin on boot (which they normally do). I have also tried updating bios along with AMD drivers. Sadly thag didn’t help. The AMD software says that no product is detected when reality it’s in the correct slot. I have also noticed that the fans spin on boot 1/10 times and that’s when my graphics card work perfectly. I tried to install the drivers but I am then faced with a black screen. Hello! I just got a used RX 5600XT on Facebook Marketplace for $400. Specifically the ASRock Radeon RX 5600 XT Challenger Pro. It seems to have a decent factory overclock and is far faster than my aging RX 560. I have a 1080@75 display but hope to upgrade to a 1080@144 soon. I'm wondering if I got scammed here. I've been pretty desperate for a GPU and pounced on this the second I saw it. The price is a good $100-$200 cheaper than recently sold listings on ebay, but ebay is always expensive. It's also far cheaper for the performance than other cards in the area, especially Nvidia cards. Thanks for taking the time to read this. --EDIT-- The exact link to the listing is here, and I've added the one image I have of the exact GPU. -Amber

Hi guys, I've been experiencing some very unusual GPU behaviour in the last 2 months. Unfortunately I don't know when/how it started. In games I have started getting small artefacts appear which usually leads to a game crash within 2 minutes of starting a game. However if I run FurMark before running a game, letting FurMark crash due to this weird behaviour, then all is well and no artefacts appear. Would anybody have any idea what is causing this? Is my GPU faulty? Or has windows caused something very annoying. Sincerely, Tris. Motherboard: Gigabyte B450 Aorus M CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X GPU: Sapphire Pulse 5600XT OC PSU: Cooler Master MWE 500W

Should I wait for 6800XT or should I buy an older card?
BlackManINC posted a topic in Graphics Cards
I'm considering just getting a 5600XT or something for now since I can't find a 6800XT in stock, and likely won't anytime soon in the near future. So should I wait or should I just get an older card as a place holder? I want rid of this RX 470, like now preferably. -
Hey, I was wondering how well a 5600 xt and a ryzen 5 2600 work together. I also have 16gb of ram. I would be getting a R5 3600 but it doesn’t work with my motherboard. Thanks!

The 5600xt is the only card that i can find available, would you say it is worth it to buy it now but upgrade in a year or two time, or be patient and wait a couple more months to get a 3060ti?

I recently bought an Asus Dual RX 5600xt EVO and I haven't been able to properly overclocked it. I can boost the clock speed up to 1820MHz but whenever I try to input a slightly higher number like 1840 it just goes back to 1820 after clicking apply. The exact same thing happens with Memory Clock which goes up to 1860 and comes back to that value after applying any bigger value. In every guide I've seen people just keep increasing the clock speeds while stress testing until they notice instabilities, I haven't found anyone who addresses the issue I'm having. This is my first time overclocking so It's very likely that I am missing something really easy or obvious but I haven't figured out what it is. I also have tried Gpu Tweak II with the exact same results.

System specs Amd 3600 Rx 5600xt 32gb 3600mhz Windows 10 Samsung 960 pro 500gb nvme Hello, I am new to posting on forums in general and have most of the time fixed problems by diagnosis and research, but I am stumped. I have recently started editing video of my gameplay. I tried to get hardware encoding to work with no luck. (It seems to me now that my gpu does not support hardware encoding.) But as an effort to see if I could get encoding to work I installed the Amd pro drivers as a last effort. I also tried the drivers out of curiosity for gaming. Fyi, they are not good for gaming. The problem: Since the pro drivers were not a help, I went ahead and uninstalled them. I then reinstalled the previous working drivers for gaming and just used the cpu to render my gameplay and went to sleep. Now my frames drop drastically. I was getting 165 fps and dipping to around 144 - 130fps about 20 percent of the time in Fortnite. Now, it is dropping to as low as 55 fps when i move around, fight others, or when anything loads in. I am not sure if the pro drivers messed up the card, or I did something wrong. What I have tried after the problem started: A fresh reinstall of windows 10 then reinstalling the original graphics drivers and Reseating the gpu. Reflashing the gpu bios to maby reset it. After reflashing the gpu bios, the problem is the same. Which means I did not make it worse hopefully. My thermals are in the low 60s for both the cpu and gpu. About 65 max for the cpu, and 60 max for the gpu before the problem and after the problem. I just recently dusted my pc two days ago. I thank everyone in advance for any help to solve my problem. Edit: I reflashed the bios on the gpu and the performance is back to where it was. I must have flashed it incorrectly before. It seems that me that pro drivers mess with the gpu bios some how.

Just got a 5600 XT and the junction temps are 100 C after a few minutes of gaming. Should I be concerned? My fans also ramped up to 2700rpm...

Planning to build a pc which uses older hardware, however using a modern gpu (maybe 5600xt) a pcie 4.0 graphics card, the motherboard however has a pcie 3 slot, now I know they're backwards compatible and will just run at maximum speed the pcie slot allows but will the decrease in bandwidth have a noticeable impact on performance?

Hey does anyone have any ideas as how to choose between these, my price range for a gpu is around £280. Any other suggestions for other gpus are also appreciated. Thanks

So I've had some pretty bad luck with drivers for my sapphire pulse 5600xt graphics card. I had a crash caused by LiveKernalEvent Code: 141 along with many others like green screens and my computer just flat out restarting for no reason. Does anyone have this graphics card and has a suggestion for what driver version I should get so I no longer have to deal with the daily crashing Thank you for the help and hopefully this forum will help anyone in my boat
