http://infotechcomputers.ca/product/hp-compaq-pro-6300-i3-desktop/ Would I be able to transfer the parts into a V1 Core case, and use a 660 Ti with the transferred parts? I also know that I'd be needing a new PSU as well. So yeah, I just don't know if I'd be able to slap a 660 Ti onto this after swapping cases (if possible). Thanks. :}

I already have a RM850x (still in the box) and am planning on getting the eVGA 1080Ti FTW3, which requires 2 x 8 pin connectors. I'm having some difficulty confirming if this PSU has the two 8 pin connectors I need for the video card in addition to the auxiliary mobo supply cable. Does anyone else have this combo, or can anyone else confirm? I'd like the option to return it if this PSU won't work, and Newegg doesn't like returns out of the box I'd be surprised if it doesn't have the two, but I'd like a more learned pair of eyes on it.

A few months ago I build a new PC with a Gigabyte G1.Sniper B7 mainboard, a i5-6500 and a GTX 1070 and im currently thinking of buying a fast M.2 SSD because my mainboard has a PCIe x4 M.2 slot. But just before I bought it I remembered that my mainboard has a B150 chipset that only supports 8 PCIe lanes which made me think that the left over PCIe lanes would bottleneck my 1070. Does anyone know if this will be the case or do you think it will work fine? Mainboard: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5526#ov Thanks for your help! :3

Hi I have a GTX 960 SuperClocked 4GB graphics card. I was running some benchmarks when I noticed that the temp didn't go over 80ºC. In MSI Afterburner I found a temp limit slider, and It wss put to 80. If I put it up to 90 I should get better performance, right? If the temps are locked then the GPU will not be able to run as good as it should because the temps are locked, and the GPU will be stuck there... right? I'm not sure, so I wanted to ask. I also noticed that the power limit went up when I tried to change the temp, but I was able to change it so that the temp limit wouldn't affect the power limit, but I changed the settings back to normal because I didn't wanna break anything. What should I do? Thanks for reading

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting anything as I'm usually self sufficient when it comes to computer issues. This problem has been baffling me though. I just built a new computer back in July using all new parts aside from the video card which I purchased last year. I ran the computer off a fresh restart yesterday, and only 1 hour into playing Heroes of the Storm on High settings (even though it says I can handle Extreme), the game started giving me what I consider "lock ups". It would pause for about 2-3 solid seconds, then resume. The max loads is what I saw during gameplay. Now is there a chance my GPU is damaged as I feel like it shouldn't be reaching a 99% load during such a light game. I had the HW Monitor on my second screen while playing, and during this "lock up" period, the load would go from 99% down to 0% on the GPU and then start climbing again as the gameplay resumed. I have never experienced anything like this. Please help me find out what's wrong. I'm thinking there is damage to the card. 4 days ago when I was playing it didn't lock up or lag, but the temperature was above 90 for a few minutes until I shut the game down.

This is my current build: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/-DJ-/saved/gBNGXL I currently use a gtx 950 but at the time of my purchase all i cared was that i got 300+ fps in csgonow i have expanded to playing many games and cannot run them at graphics i consider good. Currently the video card market is all weird but all i play at is 1080p and i want a good video card for that not over kill like the gtx 1080. What would you recommend to do wait for Volta?

Hello, I am very novice when it comes to building and am building my very first gaming PC. I've purchased about 4 parts now and just want to know what the community thinks would be best for the build. I'll let you know all the parts I have and then go in to parts I'm thinking about purchasing, I just want to know if these are good enough parts, and if you have recommendations to stay in the general price range. Here's the parts I currently have: Case: Corsair Spec-02 ATX case: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139043&cm_re=corsair_spec_02-_-11-139-043-_-Product MOBO: MSI B350 Gaming pro m-atx: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813144019&cm_re=msi_b350_gaming_pr-_-13-144-019-_-Product EVGA 500w Power Supply: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA7HN50K6623&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= Optical Drive: Asus DRW 24B1ST: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= And here are the some of the components I'm looking to possibly purchase: GPU: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137018&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker, LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= CPU: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113445&cm_re=ryzen-_-19-113-445-_-Product I know I have to purchase more such as HDD, SSD, etc. I do not plan on overclocking that much, just here and there if I can. I would just like to know what the community thinks about this, and if I'm doing it right. lol. Thanks for all the help!

I built my PC about a year ago and got comfortable with it for about a year so my PC skills are pretty rusty. I was playing PUBG as I always did but this time I had ReShade, a shader mod my Canadian buddies told me to install to "make the enemies pop out" and "enhance the gaming experience". But in the midst of my third game with the shader mod on, my computer just powers out for half a second and turns back on but the monitor does not display anything. I tried switching out the cable that powers the graphics card (Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470 4BG OC), switching the PCI slot and even reinstalling drivers but nothing helps. The card simply is not detected. The fans are not blowing but I'm pretty sure that's its idle fan technology. I might be wrong though. The LED display is on so it is not the PSU's problem (Corsair 750w, which handled this card and another AMD card before so it might not be the problem. It could be the ReShade or it simply could be my card's defects. I contacted Sapphire since I am still under warranty but I heard that their customer services sucks. Please HELP!!!! My system: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690 CPU @ 3.50GHz Microsoft Windows 10 (build 15063), 64-bit Drive 1: 1TB NAS WD Drive 2: 300GB Hitachi Hard Drive Drive 3: 120 GB Sandisk SSD (Boot) Drive 4: 480 GB Crucial SSD Motherboard: Asus Z (can't remember exactly) SAPPHIRE RX 470 NITRO+ 4GB OC (Linus reviewed this on his channel)

Please follow this forum post because i might have additional questions regarding my build. Hello guys I'm currently building my own pc and look to buy some of the parts on black Friday and i came across this graphics card called the RX 580. For some reason the video card need one 8 pin PCI plug and one 6 Pin PCI plug. Im not so sure if i have to buy an extra pic plug because I'm not so sure if my power supply even comes with them. this is my current build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FzyFRG Later along the line I'm planning on upgrading to a Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB G1 Gaming Video Card or better if the prices drop or something. but for now i just want to know if the power supply i have for my has this 6 and 8 pin PCI Plug.
