Hey everyone, Has anyone ordered items from Swiftech recently or through a retail stores that carry their products in Canada. I've placed a few orders with NCIX for a bunch of fittings and I'm being told that swiftech is having issues supply or shipping their stuff in which seemed reasonable at first but it's been almost 3 months since I placed it and still only have partially received items. Not sure if I missed anything about this or was not aware but anyone have an insight as to what the issue might be? W-L

I feel like whenever I look on Swiftech's website, the H220-X is always out of stock. Does anyone know when it will be back in stock?

I should be receiving an H220x at some point this month for an RMA of my H220. NCIX has offered me credit if I'd prefer it over the H220x. My case is the nzxt H440, and I will not be expanding the loop, as my 780 ti is already cooled via G10+h90. I would like some opinions on which to get... Stick with the H220x? or get the credit, and wait until the H240x or H110igt come in stock? Thanks in advance.

So i'm currently in the middle of my build which consists of Cpu: i7 4790k Gpu: R9 290x reference card Ram: 8gb Kingston hyper x beast Hdd: 1tb Western Digital Blue Ssd: Samsung 250gb Psu: ultra usp 750 watts (going to replace had this from old build) Mobo: Gigabyte Z97x Gaming 5 Case: NZXT Phantom 410 I want to watercool the graphics card and the cpu with the Swiftech H220x and the Swiftech Komodo R9 series do i need to add another radiator ? and also is this a good option? Hey guys, new build I am planning on constructing in a few months will be powered by an i7-5820K that I have a hope to water cool. I have read the pinned posts and I will continue reading and researching while replying to this. Some minor specs first: CPU: i7-5820k (actually debating on going 5930k for PCI lanes but that is as of yet a no) CASE: Corsair 780T MOBO: ASUS X99 Deluxe GPU: Dual SLI GTX 970s (maybe 980s, but also doubtful as of yet) PSU: 1000w I figured most brands wouldn't matter yet and I currently don't have those figured out yet but I'll update as it comes along. I should also mention fan noise DOES NOT bother me I usually use my headset anyways or have some sort of audio playing so I wouldn't notice it anyways. My current rig has a CM Jetflow 120 blowing on my GPU and it's quite loud but nothing near my laptop which is just an HP Pavilion dv6. Originally, I was going to go with an H110 but then thought about possibly upgrading to a newer FULL system liquid cooled setup, mainly for the fun of building something custom and making it mine but also achieving better temps. So I looked at the Swiftech H240-X since it's, I suppose you could say, modular and supports upgrading by adding new parts to the loop. I was also looking at the H110i GT and saw the recall going on for it but since that was caused by extreme cold, and since I'm not building this for a few months so the stupid cold Missouri weather wouldn't be a factor anyways, I wasn't worried about it, and other than it not being able to be expanded like the Swiftech, I think it would cool the CPU greatly, and I've used Corsair Link before and REALLY like it. So for the 5820K (or 5930k) with slight overclock to 4.0-4.2 ish overclock, would this be a good idea per-say? I feel it'd be better to go with a 280mm rad that can be upgraded/expanded rather than have to buy completely different systems when I decide to upgrade if I do. If I upgrade I was thinking of adding another rad in, possibly a 140mm to the rear of the case for extra cooling or another 280mm rad but mounted at the front of the case, as well as adding waterblocks to the 970's (or 980s) and if I got really bored, or had some extra money lying around which is very unlikely haha, maybe some blocks on my HDDs which I'll have on a Raid 10 setup but I didn't even know they existed till I read the pinned post by Gmac since I've yet to see anyone else build a rig with them, so there's a good chance I won't do them but it was a cool thought. Also, since I know static pressure fans (such as the SP Corsair fans) are best for a radiator, and since I plan on using the white 780T case I was going to go with a stormtrooper look, so I was thinking about replacing the stock fans with some static pressure LED fans if they exist. If not then maybe something with white trim like the Corsair fans with the color rings that can be changed out. Hi, guys I just received and installed my Swiftech H220-X and followed all the instructions properly. But my temps aren't what they should be Build: Asus Z97M-PLUS I5-4690K (OC at 4.2Ghz) Seasonic X-series 1050watts Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB 1600mhz EVGA GT740 FTW 2x Rosewill 140mm fans for intake 1x Corsair 120mm exhaust fan at rear Artic Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 Now new Swiftech H220-X Air cooled temps: Idle: 28-30c Load: 95c at 4.2ghz (on prime95 small FTT) Swiftech H220-X: Idle: 28-30c Load: 82c at 4.2ghz I find it still hot for watercooling as I've seen setups with I7-4790K at 4.8Ghz running around 70c I also have a friend with an AMD FX-9590 running a Corsair H100i and only seeing 54c full load??? Did I do something wrong? I see my pump running at 3000rpm, and both fans for my rad are running well and are in a pull configuration

I am planning to get an H220x in my new PC. I want to get some clear tubing and RED fluid. I have seen some horrors on forums of what happens with pre mixed fluid. I am pretty sure that the H220x has a silver coil so that should help. What should I use? I don't want to end up buying all new parts due to corrosion. I was thinking maybe distilled water with some kind of dye. If you guys don't have a definitive answer, I can always ask around at Microcenter when I buy the parts. By the way the CPU is a 5820k.

Hi guys! I was just wondering if the stock fans on the Swiftech H220-X are decent fans or if I should get aftermarket fans, like for example some Noctua NF-F12 fans? My goal is effective and silent cooling and my case is a NZXT H440. Thanks in advance! -
I was looking at other AIO CPU water coolers and I found the totally badass Swiftech H220-X. Since this is like a hybrid between an AIO and a custom loop, would I have to purge the liquid bi yearly, if I use the stock liquid?

Hi there! Just a quick poll/question. I currently own a Cooler Master Nepton 240M with two additional Cougar PWM fans mounted for a Push/Pull configuration. I have been looking to get the Swiftech H240-X though as I would like to eventually do a custom loop with a pair of 980s. I am currently getting about 28C idle at 4GHz with an Intel 5930K. Would I see a performance increase/on par with the Swiftech H240-X in terms of temperature and noise? I don't have a way to measure the noise on this current setup but it is definitely louder than I like. So the end question being, would I be better served overall by the H240-X? (Let me know if I should add more information) Thanks! Longbow -
Hello, I got my two H90s today in the mail because I'll be putting them on my 780 Ti reference cards once the Corsair HG10 N1 edition comes out. I just wanted to test these coolers for leaks or at least make sure they aren't faulty before I put them in my system. I am using an external 850 watt power supply to test these coolers to see if they work but when I plug the two pumps in via molex to 2 pin fan header the power supply continuously clicks on and off. The power supply came from an Alienware Aurora R3 that my friend had before he built his own PC. There was nothing wrong with the Alienware, he just wanted to build his own PC so we scrapped some parts from the Alienware and I got him to give me the power supply. I read in the H90's manual and it says that the pump has to be plugged in to either a 3 pin or a 4 pin fan header so I am guessing there is some voltage issue going on. After reading that, I decided to plug the H90s into 3 pin headers on my system's motherboard and they both work fine this way. I can feel the pump working by feeling the top of the water block and the hoses and my power supply is not clicking on and off. Plus, I tested my Swiftech H240-X that I got for Christmas by plugging them into the Alienware power supply the same way I did the H90s and it worked fine. Could it be some kind of voltage problem with these specific coolers? Or are both of these new coolers faulty somehow? If it is the problem, did I cause any damage to the pumps by plugging them in? And can you explain why the pump needs at least a 3 pin connection (just for future reference)? I posted this on the Corsair user forums but I'm getting like one response per day and I know you guys respond quickly so I figured I'd post here too. Thanks in advance. -
Hi All! I had received a water cooling kit this time last year and I have unfortunately been through 3 dead pumps and would like out of the whole RMA process and just get a new pump/reservoir system. I was wondering if someone could tell me if these parts would all be compatibile with each other and fit nicely into the new system. Ok here's my situation. Currently i am cooling my fx 6300 with a corsair h55, and I am planning to upgrade my cooler to the Swiftech H220x (want the the H240x but it doesnt seem like theyre ever going to restock the damn thing) My gpu is the gtx 660 ti by pny. I was thinking about upgrading to the 960 when it comes out, but i really dont do that much heavy gaming. ( mostly work with FL Studio and play skyrim to calm down when my brain hurts.) That being said i am considering getting the kraken g10 to hook up my h55 to the 660 ti. Is this a smart move? Hoping it will quiet this cards blower fan and maybe get a decent overclock out of it. I appreciate your time and any help.

Hello, I made the terrible mistake of buying the MCP 655 water pump without the speed controller. So I am looking to buy a custom PWM controller and set it up. Hi I would like to ask for tips for preparing my rig this summer time, I don't have A/C yet so I'll be buying my AIO first. By the way the usual temperature on summer here in the Philippines are 38C-40C or 100F-104F. I'm interested with this AIO http://www.swiftech.com/H220-X.aspx, is it a good buy? I want to buy a bang for the bang and an AIO that will last for 3 years as well, as I dont have extra money because I'm just a working student. If swiftech is not that good, what are your recommendations? My max budget is 200USD for AIO.

Hi everyone! About a month ago I purchased a Swiftech H240-X. It has been working well, up until yesterday. I went to boot up my computer and it overheated after a minute and shut down. Curious why, I went poking around, and I found that the pump was not moving any water. Not knowing what to do, I cleared the CMOS, unplugged the computer, and left it overnight. In the morning, I powered it on, and everything seems in working order again. The pump is once again moving water. No unusual noises coming from the pump, no unusual vibrations, no nothing. Is my pump failing, and do I need to return the device, or is there something simple that I'm just missing? Thanks!

Hey, guys! First time, so please excuse if I've placed something in the wrong spot (this should go in some other topic, category, etc.) So, I am going to get a Corsair Obsidian 750D soon (Christmas gift that I had to get myself, but can't have for 3 weeks), and I was thinking of watercooling in the future. I had two theories and a question. So, my first theory is to get a full custom loop, blow a budget now, not spend it later, and be happy. Or, I could go and buy a Swiftech H220-X, and add on as needed. My question, if you will, is which should I choose, or better yet, can someone recommend some good stuff for my system, that's not any more expensive than the full blown thing I have listed below? I have bounght swiftech h320 about 3 month ago it is working and temp is ok till now but now there sound coming from the pump .and my asus probe 2 report 0 rpm at the time pump go silent .please help me .thanks in advance . -
Hello! As far as I understand, the Swiftech H240-X has the pump mounted on the radiator itself. Does that mean that the H240-X is loud? Louder than a typical AIO cooler? How loud specifically, if anyone knows? I would greatly appreciate any input!

Still doing some research and trying to get my temps down a notch, I understand ambient temp can cause it to rise but im still confused as to thy my cpu is idling in the low-mid 40s same with my gpu, they pretty much mimic eachother as far as temps go. Ive tried a few different combiniations as well. Any Help is appriciated Reapplied AS5 thermal, tried the TIM EK sends and the TIM swiftech sends with the h320 as well. Reseated multiple times, so im not sure what all it could be at this point. HT off: temps roughly 10 degrees lower idle and load HT on with 2 cores enabled: Same as with 4C/4T All of my voltages and settings are at stock as well but i cant seem to get them lower, Could the fact that i have a gpu in the loop be affecting the cpu temps? Also, I have an additional 240m rad at the front with fairly high fin density and i was wondering would having faster rpm fans help cool it? Ok, so I know the stock coolers are crap for coolers in general but is it ok if I use the stock cooler for school works and minimal game use, like minecraft? I am going to buy the Swiftech H 240X once its in stock near me, probably in 3 months so is that time frame ok for the stock cooler? Thanks

Hello everyone! I would like to know what would be the best aoi liquid cooler for my i7 4790k. With the stock cooler it will hit 84c-88c under load. Could anyone tell me what the best aio cooler from either Corsair, Nzxt, Or Swiftech. How loud is an aio? (i am expecting it to be quieter than the stock cooler of course). My case can fit up to (i think its a) 3-120mm rad setup for where I want to put this. If you know the temperatures of each cooler you suggest that would be great. I have tried researching to no avail. Please tell me, Thanks! Ps: here is my pc, and where i would mount it. (nzxt h-440) If it is a cyan or blue color (doesn't have to be) all the better.

So my swiftech h220 has a few broken fins Is this still okay? I mean is this still going to have good temps ?
